Once upon a time, there were two best friends. They were so happy with each other. One was filled with so much energy and the other was calmer than his friend. But they both were fond of each other nonetheless.

"Jihoon!" The boy with so much energy called his best friend. He waved at him to come closer. "Soonyoung!" Jihoon cried and happily ran towards him.

"Lets play hide and seek?" Soonyoung asked and Jihoon nodded. The boy was so cute that this was when Soonyoung had realized, he liked this boy a lot. He wanted to protect him, his smile, his happiness from anything and anyone that would go against him. He wanted to cherish him, to take care of him. To love him.

But they were still kids and Soonyoung knew it was just a little crush. Or was it?

The two played together with their other friends. Soonyoung brought along his closest friend in the castle. Minghao.
"H-hello." Minghao shyly said and Jihoon grinned. "Hello!"

The group of children began to play. Minghao was the seeker.
Soonyoung grabbed Jihoon by the arm and together they both looked for a hiding spot, which the did. They hid inside the garden maze behind a short and worn out pillar, about their height and size of them that had a statue of a vase.

"Shhh." Soonyoung said and Jihoon giggled. They held hands as they waited for Minghao to find them.

"10! Ready or not, here I come!" They heard Minghao's voice.

The two waited and waited until finally, they heard footsteps coming their way.
Soonyoung waited still but Jihoon started to run.

"Jihoon no not yet!" Soonyoung whispered but the boy continued.

Soonyoung tried to grab him but only pushed the pillar instead.

His eyes widened and Jihoon looked back.

"Jihoon!" Soonyoung cried and as he tried to reach him again, he was too late.

There was a loud crash and Soonyoung froze.

The footsteps grew closer and it was surely Minghao. "Got you!" He exclaimed but soon trailed off as he saw the crushed pillar on top of someone.
"S-soonyoung?" Soonyoung looked back at Minghao with tears in his eyes.

"Is that..." Minghao didn't have to finish his sentence because he figured out who it was when Soonyoung looked at him, horrified.

"I-I k-killed him..." Soonyoung stuttered.

"No you didn't! We have to call for help. Help!" Minghao grabbed Soonyoung's shoulders, "Get yourself together! You're a prince! You have to stay strong."

Minghao continued to call for help and finally the maids came. They were shocked and soon called Jihoon's and Soonyoung's parents.

They brought Jihoon to the hospital.

"He will be alright. But I believe he has lost some memory." The doctor announced.

Jihoon's parents nodded and sniffled. Soonyoung's parents embraced Soonyoung.
They went inside Jihoon's room.

"Jihoon?" Soonyoung asked his friend and smiled happily when he had woken up
"Jihoon!" He smiled wider. "Are you okay now? Do you need anything?"

Jihoon's eyes were droopy and he turned towards Soonyoung slowly.
"Who.. Are you?"
