Chapter 3: Oskar

Kayden, Liam and Aiden. 3 highly crossed royalties of Igor Mann entered into the room right after Eva did. All 4 of their eyes swept across the room to land on Ethan and I sitting in front of the desk. I was trying to not meet their eyes, because I don't know what they will see in my eyes. Fear? Regret? Guilt?

I half expected Ethan to dash to Eva's side as soon as she entered. After all we were in hostile territories. But he surprised me by giving them only a nonchalant look, like they didn't matter.

"What the hell do you think you are doing with us?" Aiden exclaimed. Seriously! Don't irk them! I chastised him in my mind.

"Who do you think you are assholes?" Liam said, shoving the person holding him away.

"Do you even know who we are?" Kayden continued with his own range of profanities.

"Why am I here? What is going on? You are kidnapping me! Release me this instant." Eva surprised me when she started screaming these in a girly sound that was highly unlike of her. She was acting like an extremely spoiled teenage girl.

All of a sudden I felt like I was in a role play where I alone didn't know the lines that I need to deliver. Change of plans? But to what? Errrrrrrrrrr.

"Teenagers." The bald guy muttered rubbing his temples.

"The girls came in with the two of them, she didn't stay with them. She was shortly joined by these 3 kids. We believe that all 4 of them are with these 2." One of the guys in the black suit explained to the boss.

"What? Ethan and Elle just gave me a lift to the club because I was meeting with my boyfriend here. I am not with them. I am here with my boyfriend." Eva exclaimed.

Ethan snorted loudly. "Seriously, are you dump or are you acting dump? Dragging in 4 random useless spoiled kids and claiming that I am an imbecile to trust these selfish brats to save my neck. Do I look like a fool to you?" Ethan laughed like he was finding this whole situation absurd.

"Look here dude. We don't know what issue is brewing between you lot, but you are messing with the wrong people. But believe me when I tell you this, you don't want to start a problem with us." Kayen said to the boss. His voice was calm and collected. But it was lined with a promise of a huge threat.

"Okay, I believe you. Just one question. You said that you came here to meet your boyfriend. Then where is he?" The boss guy asked Eva in a menacing tone.

Eva stiffened. Ethan was still carrying on with his cool façade, but I noticed that his fist have balled up. As about me, I was cursing myself for bring my friends to this sort of trouble.

"What do you mean who is her boyfriend? I am her boyfriend." Kayden announced, shocking both his friends and mine. Did Kayden just save Eva's neck? Eva looked at him with her mouth hanging open. Close your mouth Eva, you are giving away his bluff.

By the time the boss guy looked at Eva she was nodding to what Kayden said like it was the most obvious thing.

"Fine! Lead everyone out except for Adrielle. I suggest that you don't linger around the club. My sincere apologies about the misunderstanding young lads."

"I am not going anywhere. I am staying here with my girlfriend" Ethan told him, pulling me closer to him. I whipped my head to look at him. He was not leaving me alone. I was mad at the fact that he wasn't leaving when he had the chance. But I was also thankful at the fact that I am not alone.

"Okay then. Take the 4 of them out. Take them to their cars and make sure that they leave." The boss guy instructed his men.

They nodded and lead the 4 of them outside. When everyone went out the boss turned to look at me. "So, do you know why you are here Elle?"
