The Unexpected 1.7

Y/N P.O.V

It's been a couple of days since me and Kevin spoke. I don't really know what to do anymore. I mean I want to fix it but it's like I can't fix it. Right now Dev and I are in the room we sleep in. Today is the day we are finally relocating to my house.

"Morning Bebe."

"Aw. I love your raspy voice in the morning." I blushed. "I'm going to cook breakfast and call Kevin."

"Ok make sure you make my food with love and passion." He giggled.

"Oh hush. I do everything with love and passion." He laughed.

*baby cries*

"I'll get him." Devin groans and gets up. "It's ok papa. Let's go back to sleep."

I walked out of the room and went downstairs to see Shari asleep on the couch. I wonder why she didn't go to her room. Oh well. I walked past her trying to be quiet but she woke up.

"Morning honey bunches of oats." She said with her eyes closed yawning.

"Hey boo morning. Do you know where Kevin is?"

"Naw. He got up and left yesterday night. I don't know what's gotten into him. I texted him and asked him where he is 30 mins ago and he told me he went home. Why?"

"Well we kinda started arguing yesterday and I need to talk to him. Thanks though. I'll be back. I told Devin I was cooking but I think I'll just go pick some breakfast up or cook when I get back." I said grabbing my keys and putting my Nike slides on.

"Where you going?"

"To find Kevin."

I walked out of the house and to my car. Great. It's raining and I don't have a jacket. I got into the car and started dialing Kevin's number. Before starting the car I plugged my phone into the aux so I don't have to be on the phone illegally.

*phone rings and he doesn't pick up*

*rings again*

Y/N- Hello?

Kev- ...

Y/N- Kevin...I'm sorry ok. Can you tell me where you are so we can talk please? I don't know how we are going to resolve this but we need to work on it.

Kev- There is nothing to talk about. I like you and have for a long time. You just didn't know. But I respect Devin and you to the point of holding back my emotions and leaving you alone. Devin. That's my boy. I wouldn't rock his world for no one. I've been rocking it wit him since we were little kids.

Y/N- Kevin...open the door.

I hung the phone up and got out the car. I had just pulled up in Mama Deb's driveway. As soon as I step foot onto the porch, the door swung open and I was showered with hugs. From Kevin.

"So this is what you looked like when you were young. You are so s'cute."

"Yeah s'cute is one thing. You should've seen him when he was in elementary." Mama Deb laughed. "Hey where's Shari? I  haven't seen my baby in a couple of days."

"Shari's at the cabin. She will be home today even if I have to drag her."

"Ok thank you. I miss my mini me." Mama Deb walked away kissing me and Kevin on the forehead. "I'm going to work. Don't do anything to Nana Kev." We all shared a giggle and then she left.

I got up also going to the front door.

"Where you going?"

"Adventures don't happen unless you happen. You comin' or not?"
