Chapter Two

I change into my pajamas and go up to Hailey curious about call.

"Sooo.......Hailey, who were you talking to on the phone this late at night?" I ask her while putting my dirty clothes back into my suitcase.

"You know my new friend April right?", She says kinda fast, "I was talking to her. She's probably pretty lonely without me, so I called her."

"Well, it's pretty late, you should take a shower." I try to change the  subject without seeming aware of her acting suspicious. 

"I was going to anyways." She says.

Hailey grabs her things from her suitcase and goes into the bathroom. I make sure she's gone and slowly reach over to grab her phone. I unlock it and go to the caller ID, and check the last call.  It says: 10:42-Carson Blythe. Who the heck was Carson Blythe?

Why would Hailey need to lie in the first place?

The loud ringing sound of my alarm clock wakes me up.I hear Hailey in the bathroom running the water. I yawn and stretch, then lay back down and snuggle into the bed.

"Wake up, movie star! You have a meeting today, don't you?" Hailey whispers in my ear as she shakes me. "If you want to be late continue sleeping, but if not, WAKE UP!!!"

There's no use even trying to argue with her, she does anything she can to wake me up, so I just decide to get up and use the bathroom.

"Hey, Skylar, one more thing.....make sure you brush your hair before your leave."   Hailey reminds me. "You look like you were mauled by a lion last night."

"Yeah, maybe I was," I say sarcastically.

Hailey rolls her eyes and heads for the door.

"I have some things to do, but I'll be back before breakfast?" Hailey says. "Bye!" She closes the door behind her.

"Ok, bye!" I yell, knowing she can't hear me through the door.

I begin to get ready.
