Last day,even if it's her last day,
She wants to help him,help him somehow.
He doesn't want her , doesn't want her anyway,
He is too damned to damn another soul.
She begged,"Let it be me..",your shadow in light,
Let me take in all your flaws,
He patted her head and simply
smiled.
The smile which didn't reach his eyes told her she can never be his.
She tried to cross the road which she never wanted to pass,
His smile,his care, she always received.
But his heart? The thought could never leave no pains.
One sided love is not as aimant as she anticipated.
She always wished,before she slept into darkness,
Even if I can't understand how falling in love is a crime,
I am ready to pay price as my life.
But when they ask who was the one?even if it's a lie,
Let it be me.
