BLIND [LEVI ACKERMAN-READER]

(Levi's POV) 

I woke up as usual, still blind. Im so lucky. I miss seeing things. I miss seeing the view from up the mountain, I miss seeing the clouds, I miss seeing the ocean. I miss seeing my friends. I wonder what Hanji looks like now. Erwin, what does he look like now. Does he still have that eyebrows? I wonder what my house looks like now. I hope its clean. I sat up on my bed, feeling the ground using my feet. The hard wood floor shaking a bit. I heard footsteps so i turned my head to the door. 

"Hey Levi!" oh its Hanji. She sounds cheery today i wonder why. I stood up and walked to the bathroom, touching the wall as my guide, using my left hand. I felt someone hold me, assisting me. Honestly, I dont like it when they do this to me. It makes me feel like a burden. Everyday i wished i didnt get on that car. I didnt listen to my friends. Instead i listened to my psycho of a girlfriend. Thats when I realized, my friends were right. She's a Psycho. She's an obsessed bitch.

"Hey Levi, is something wrong? You seemed off." Hanji said, interrupting my thoughts. She helped me brush my teeth. 

"Im fine. Dont worry. How are you? How's Erwin?" I asked. I start brushing my teeth while listening to Hanji.

"Oh! Im great! I got a new tool for my science experiments. I also made a new discovery on how to turn grey hairs to black. And Erwin's fine. His eyebrows are still the same though. It hink he might've trimmed it a bit." Hanji said while laughing at the eyebrow part. I smiled a bit and nodded. 

"Hey, can you help me go to the backyard? I want to play my violin there." I said, waiting for her response. I felt her hold my arm and assist me to go outside. 

I can feel the ground beginning to soften, it must be the grass from the backyard. Hanji handed me my violin. 

"I'll leave you for a bit. I'll be back when breakfast is gonna be served." Hanji said but i know she wants to give me my space. She knows me well. When i felt that i was alone. I then played my violin. (play the video)

(3 minutes after)

After i played that melody, i heard laughter from the other side. We have new neighbors? The laughter died down. I wish my friends and i are like that too if i didnt got into that accident. thank god the psychopath died in that crash though. She's a pain in the ass actually. For the meantime, while waiting for Hanji to come back, i played another song.

(pretend its violin i cant find any violin covers for it. lol)

While playing that song, I remember that girl who's been at my side. She never left me. She was always there for me. When she's there, i never felt alone. I never felt so lonely. She lights up my life. But now, she's gone. She died of sickness. Why do the people i love leave? I just wished i could've stayed with her at the hospital. Petra. Im sorry. For not being at your side when you needed me. 

I stopped playing and looked at the side of the backyard where i suddenly heard someone. Tch. Can't I have privacy now?

"Hey shorty! Im here now. I got you a tea and a blanket!" Hanji said. She took my violin and helped me sit on the chair.

"Dont call me that. I have a name you know."  I said. And tried to reach for my tea. I felt it move. Ah.. Hanji moved it forward to me. 

"Erwin is gonna be here any minute now. Do you want something? i can tell him to buy some food." Hanji said. 

"Yeah. Tell him to buy me a bento." I told her sipping on my tea. After a while, we heard a thud. 

"You heard that?" Hanji said. I felt her get up and the chair made a noise.

"Yeah, I think those are the new neighbors." I said not caring at all. Then we heard a door closed. I sighed and got up, bringing the violin with me. 

"Im going back inside. Call me when Erwin arrived." I said and walked towards my room which is on the first floor of this 2 floor house. 

I hope the new neighbors are nice and quiet.

[I can see you guys getting confused on who the ex is so let me tell you. Petra, died of sickness. So after she died, Levi went into that mode where you dont listen to those who are around you and she met this crazy girl (he didn't know that she's crazy and i just never really gave her a name) and dated her, they got in an accident and then BAM! Levi's blind. I hope this helps]
