When my dad and Clint came back and Skylar was still sleeping, I was with Gracie and I think Peter and Nathan were hanging out. I honestly didn't care because I was still upset with Peter. I told him I'd him another chance, I hope he didn't think as more than friends.

"Gracie whatta ya thinking about" I smirked

She just smiled

"I mean who are you thinking about" yea I'm gonna give Gracie a taste of her own medicine for torturing me back when I liked Peter.

"Nathan" she said low but I still heard her

"Ahhhhhhhhhh" I screamed with a big smile on my face

Peters Pov

I was hanging out with Nathan in the training room, we were both just messing around.

"So you've been living with Gracie and Kenzie, what do you think of them" he sounded serious why I don't know

"Well there my best friends, and Kenzie is like my sister, I love her so much"

"Yep Kenzie she's different, she's so beautiful and so smart. She's just perfect" Those words coming out of his mouth they made me mad but he was right and I had that but I screwed  up big time.

I just nodded my head in agreement.
"And Gracie, she's like the girl version of her dad, she's so brave and pretty" okay now this kid is playing games just pick one already

"I want them both honestly" I didn't even know what to say but I know he's not gonna play these girls cause I'll kick his ass.

"Okay bye" I ran out of the room straight to my room. I was pacing around what am I gonna tell them, will they even believe me after what happened?

Back to Kenzie

Gracie and I were sorting through our closet when there was a knock on the door.

"Come in" I yelled from the closet

"Hey Gracie you in here" it was Nathan I smirked and pushed Gracie out of the closet and then began to eavesdrop on their conversation.

"Hey so you me date tonight, I'll pick you up at 7" damn this kid had not one bit of nerve in his voice

"Okay" and there was overly excited Gracie.

Minutes later she ran into the closet "what am I gonna wear" she was nervous I could tell but she was happy

"Come here" I grabbed her hand and started pulling stuff out our closet.

All I could think about was my first date with Peter I honestly wish things didn't go the way they did. I shook my head, this is about Gracie not you.

"That's perfect" I looked at my best friend in awe she wore a black and white flannel over a gray tank top and high wasted jeans. I had curled her hair and applied some light makeup.

Your all ready I turned her around so she can look in the mirror.

"Thank you thank you thank you" she hugged me

"No problem now go have fun" I patted her on the shoulder and fell back into my bed.

"Listen I'm sorry about the whole Peter thing just give it time, but if you need me I'll stay"
