With the help of Fran telling me what Ava likes I had planned a day I hoped she would like. I told her to meet me at our house around 4 and with it being 3 I dressed in a pair of my black skinny jeans and a cream sweatshirt. After I headed to the roof to put the finishing touches on our date tonight. I had gotten all her favorites foods earlier today and now had them all laid out on a table next to a mattress full of blankets and pillows with a projector screen in front so we could watch movies and the sunset later.
Almost as soon as I was done fixing everything to the way I wanted it I heard a car pull up outside. I rushed down stairs to answer the door as she rang the door bell. There she stood looking so beautiful, causing a smile to break across my face.
"Hi" "Hey there" she said laughing at my awkwardness. "Oh i'm sorry, come in" I said moving aside for her to come into the house. "This is a nice place y'all have" "Thank you" "So what do you have planned Mr. Lawley?" "First you have to put this on" I said handing her a blindfold smiling at the nickname. "What why?" she said. "Because it's a surprise"
She finally put the blindfold on allowing me take all of her in. She managed to look absolutely incredible while still looking so effortless. (outfit above) I took her by the hand and startled leading her towards the roof. She grabbed on to me harder as we reached the stairs scared i'd let her fall.
"You better not let me fall Kian" "No promises" I smirked.
Once we reached our destination I came up behind her and took the blindfold off. She gasped and turned around almost immediately to hug me.
"Oh my god Kian, I think this is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me" "I wanted to impress you" I said gripping the back of my neck while looking at the ground. "This is absolutely amazing, thank you so much" She said coming to give me a hug once again. "l love it" "I had some help from Fran so I have some of your favorites food and I got yours and my favorite movies to watch."
She grabbed a couple snacks and sat on the mattress covering up with the blankets. I did the same and sat down beside her. Our second movie ended round 7:30 allowing us to watch the sunset.
"Thank you for this Kian, it means so much to me for you to go to so much trouble to put this together." "I just wanted to make you happy"
This made her cuddle into me with her head on my chest. We stayed cuddled up under the blankets to watch the sunset and just talked about anything and everything for hours.
"It's 11:30, I should get going" she said looking at her phone. "No stay" I said reaching for her. "I've had an amazing night" I stood up grabbing her hand as I went and walked her to the door. "Thank you" "No thank you for giving me a chance, I hope we can do this again" "Defiantly" she said hugging me and kissing me on the cheek. She began walking out the door, our hands eventually slipping out of one another's. "Text me when you get home" "I will, goodnight Mr. Lawley" "Goodnight Ms. Carter"
