"Keep an eye on her."
I lie on the ground waiting for something to happen when I feel a harsh tap on my shoulder.
"Get up," Cece says, "I know you're not dead. A'll be back any minute. Hurry Up!" To my surprise, my eyes snap open.
I'm in a dark room where only blurry shapes are visible.
"You betrayed me." I say. That's all I can say; that's all I have to say.
"Calm down, I'll explain later, but you just have to trust me."
"Trust you? You seriously want me to trust you? After what you did. You brought me to A and now I'm going to die because of you and you want me to trust you?" My passive aggressive tone escalates into a scream.
"Ssshhhhhhh."
I can't help but to start to laugh a little. I notice the sound of running footsteps and I start to cry. I've always wanted to die young, that way I would always be pretty; I would never have to grow old. Maybe this is what I had coming; maybe the universe is giving me exactly what I wanted.
"That's A, it's either trust me and maybe die, or just die," Cece hastily says. I can't stay here with A so, against my better judgement, I follow Cece into more darkness.
We enter a small door that leads to a series of tunnels.
"Where are we?"
I could never stand not knowing things, that's why I always made my friends tell me their secrets.
"Ravenswood," she says, "somewhere in a cemetery, in a creepy grave to be exact."
Cemetery. You have to be a certain type of insane break into a cemetery and enter a grave.
"Over here." We enter yet another small door that leads into a house. I have to admit, I'm surprised.
"I think this is the-" Cece doesn't get to finish because I cut her off. "I know this place," I start to explain. It all seems too familiar, from the grungy, spider-web windows to the everlasting smell of death lingering everso slightly under the strong smell of Chanel No.9.
"This is where Mrs. Grunwald lives now. What are we doing here?"
Out of the corner of my eye, I see a light glinting off of a pair of beautiful blue eyes. Sure enough, it's Mrs. Grunwald.
