Architecture was your passion. It encouraged you to move to the big city and attend Jae Won high, a well known school famous for its dedication to the arts. Unpacking the last of your boxes into your new apartment you decided to take a break and explore your neighborhood before the sun went down. Putting on some jogging attire, you put your headphones on before locking your door and heading out.
"Welcome (Y/N)! I hope you're enjoying your new home. Are you heading out on a jog?" Your landlord questioned upon noticing you step into the apartment lobby.
"Yes, I was just about to go out on a run! The place looks lovely by the way, thank you," you responded in awe at how nice the place was for the price.
"Of course, I'm glad you like the place," he said as you walked closer to the door.
"One last thing before you go," he shouted out, gaining you attention as you reached for the door.
"Be careful around here, there's some sketchy character around these parts of town. Don't get lost, and please stay safe," he said, a glint of worry in his eyes.
Nodding your head, you thanked your landlord for the advice before heading out.
Jogging down the streets, you noticed a small park coming up. Slowing down a little you gazed into the area only to see a heavily tattooed man doing pull ups on one of the equipments. Remembering the words of your landlord, you continued on your run.
Entering a side of town you weren't use to, you looked around at your surroundings. It looked a bit run down and shady compared to your new home location. Grabbing your phone, you pulled up a map to help you get home. Turning around, the map pointed towards an alley way, suggesting it to be the quickest way home. Sighing, you agreed to follow the directions considering how tired you were and noticing how the sun was beginning to set. Carefully maneuvering your way through the alley, you soon caught sight of street lights coming up, but before you could go any further a group of figures appeared before you, blocking your way.
"Hey there, where do you think you're going," one of the figures sneered, stepping into the light to show a male around your age. Three others stepped out of the shadows smirking down at you. Stepping a few feet back, you attempted to make a run for it, but ran into a hard chest. Arms wrapped around your waist as a warm breathe laced with the sent of alcohol whispered in your ear. "Come on, lets have a little fun~"
Releasing a loud scream, the mans hands slammed down on your mouth. Tears began to well up in your eyes as the guys began to step closer to you. Kicking and thrashing, you felt the arms around you tighten leaving you breathless. Right as you were about to loose faith, the sound of a deep voice piped up. "Let them go."
Opening your eyes, you saw the thugs stare up in shock at the person behind you.
"Isn't that Vasco?!" "We were just messin around, we weren't doin nothin bad" "It's just a joke, we weren't actually gonna do anything with em"
There pleas were silenced as your savior grabbed the throat of the man still holding you. "Bad guys like you are a disgrace," he said before throwing him off of you. "Leave, unless you want to be punished as well," he said in a calm voice as he glared down at them. Quickly, they scampered away down the alley leaving you and your hero.
Turning around, you finally came face to face to see the man who came to your rescue. The alley was dark, but you could make out the shapes of his muscles and the outline of tattoos spreading across his exposed skin. Recognizing him as the man from the park earlier you held your breathe waiting for his next move. He looked like a thug, but was he really?
"Are you ok," he questioned, gently looking down at you.
"Y-yeah. T-thank you," you stuttered, still in utter shock.
"You should head home, it isn't safe around here at this hour," he said before turning around to exit the alley. Following his lead, you followed him into the safety of a well lit street.
Upon seeing his form fully in the light of the street. You gazed up at his well built physique in awe. He was designed nearly perfectly, like a structure of architecture.
A light blush dusted your cheeks as he stood before you.
Looking down at your form, he graced you with a small smile before turning from your direction and leaving you in state of wonder.
Standing in awe at his retreating form, a small smile grew on your face as you began your journey back home, avoiding the short cuts your phone recommended.

Opening the room to your new architecture class, you were greeted by the sight of a very familiar character.
Carefully making you way to the back of the classroom where he resided with other students you assumed were his friends considering the matching jumpsuits, you gently tapped his shoulder. Turning to face you, you greeted him with a large smile.
"Thank you once again for what you did the other day," you said beaming up at the taller male. Looking down at you, he returned your smile with a smaller one nodding his head in welcome.
A light blush coated your cheeks as you looked down at your shoes.
"What you did for me...it was heroic! And I was wondering if I could make it up to you sometime. Maybe...would you like to go to dinner with me? My treat of course," you rushed out nervously, looking down waiting for his response.
Before he could utter a word, his friend with large ears handed you a sheet of paper. "Vasco would love to go out with you! Here's his number, please text him the details," he shouted with a bright expression while his other friends glowed behind him.
"Your name is Vasco," you asked looking up at your hero with large eyes.
"That's Hero Man's real name! No wonder you're named after him, you certainly are a hero," you explained, glowing with joy.
Shock stretched over his face, and to your concern a tear trickled down his eye.
Reaching up you wiped his tear away, concern written all over your face as his friends called out his name in shock.
"I'm sorry, did I say something wrong," you asked worriedly. As you were about to remove your hand from his face, his hand held yours in place. It was cold to the touch and calloused, but it felt just right on top of yours.
"You called me a hero. You compared me to Hero Man," he breathed out as a blush dusted his cheeks.
Giggling at his child like expression, you kissed his cheek, opposite to the one you held.
"Well of course! You're my hero after all," you cheered removing your hand from his.
"I'll text you later Vasco, it was nice meeting you," you said, winking in the progress before turning to find your new desk leaving Vasco and his friends with mouths wide open in shock.
