It's been a week in the city, and finding her place was Illea's biggest challenge. By the second day, she noticed how much of a mistake it was to go all in without a plan. But then again, there was no way she could have planned for this.

"blast. The water isn't working.." she murmured to herself as the fiddled with the pipe in the kitchen. For ten years old, she knew how to do a lot. Fix a ship, program a droid, moisture farm- but pipes is where the little one's talent ends.

All in a swift movement, she grabbed her bag and went out the door to the front desk. As she walked down the long hallways of the motel, she could hear everything going on in each room. From radios playing to people yelling. It was like there were no walls between them.

As she got to the front desk, the room keeper either didn't see her or didn't care to assist her. She stood there for a while, swinging back and forth before clearing her throat to get the alien's attention.
