The Wastelands

Long ago a great battle ensued, a battle; man against beast. From great loss bred a champion a man from the people by the people. A great King. Through many trials his first great quest was to unite the 5 armies, through The pact of the 5 armies. This would divide the world into 5 zones and provide peace for the people.

Time had passed since the pact was signed. The pact had few opposers, but powerful ones nonetheless. A great force was imagined by the foremost intelligent fortune tellers. This led the king to prepare not only his kingdom but also the others. Thus, the second pact was formed, A warzone to ensure that people could be well trained, this created war as people crossed lines and enacted harm to others.

The king felt safe for the world, except in his sleep the king was visited by a dark figure holding a map. That map legend the Wastelands with all but one kingdom... His. The king asked the figure what was he to do to save his kingdom, the figure informed the king that he was to hide his kingdom in order for his people to live. Awaken from his slumber the king immediately visited the Shaman of Kador. There he offered the Shaman all the gold he had to hide his kingdom.

The Shaman allowed the king 24 hours to take care of any business that he needed to before he had to departure. The king decided to use that time to warn the other rulers of the impending doom. In the 23rd hour the Shaman sent out a beacon to tag the still absent king to no avail the kingdom was hidden.

It had been one thousand years since the great king had mysteriously vanished and the world had a different engine. A great tournament was held every ten years to allocate scarce rations. This kept relative peace...

The first four decades of the New World proved inadequate at best. Cheating and poor regulations led to uneven rationing and unleveled playing fields.

There a bounty hunter was born Harold Burton armed with 7 of the most deadly fighting styles known to beingkind and a titanium  alloy spear axed halberd gold... Named Beth.

Harold regulated the regulations and did so with an iron rule. Alongside beth the two have come to battle many great foe... Goblins, dragons, warlocks and even a God.
