Chapter 3

I only made it about half way through the movie before I started to get drowsy.

We were watching the movie

"Sandlot 2" because it is like my favorite movie ever.

As I got sleepy-er I rested my head down on Austin's shoulder. Austin turned his body so he was facing me more and put his arm around me. He pulled me closed to him as I went to sleep. The last thing I saw was Hayley and David talking at the Fourth of July celebration while watching fireworks.

I felt myself being lifted up and moved. I slightly opened my eyes and saw austin carrying me up the stairs. I think he saw me because he looked down and smiled. I shut my eyes immediately and acted asleep.

He opened the door to my room, walked in, set me down on my bed, and pulled the covers up over me.

"I know your awake Em." He said

What he said took me by surprise.

"Em?"

"Yeah it's my nickname for you" he chuckled.

"Umm ok then."

"Look I have to go before our parents get suspicious and my parents wanted to talk to me already so goodnight." He leaned in and kissed my cheek before leaving my room. Turning the lights of and shutting the door behind him.

Austin's pov

I walked down the stairs wondering why my parents had to talk to me. Maybe it's because I was getting too close to Emma and Rey didn't like it. Or maybe it was about having to be responsible with my actions toward and around her.

"Hey austin, thanks for taking Emma upstairs for us. Your parents already went home." Mrs. Kathryn told me

"Oh, it's no problem. Thank you for having me today."

"Your very welcome."

"Goodnight mrs. Kathryn."

"Goodnight austin" she called

I wondered over to my house. I opened the door to see none other than my mom and dad already waiting for me. I walked and sat down in front of them. That's when everything started.

"Austin, you know what you are to become right?" my mom started

"Yes mom, a Vampire I know I know."

"Not only a vampire but the king austin!" my dad responded.

"Yes, yes I know"

"Austin with that comes great responsibility." My mom fired

"Yes mother, I understand. I also under stand that I have two months till I become one ok? I have time to still be a kid and have fun"

"Yes austin, but what ur mother is trying to say is, we don't want you to mess up around Emma when that happens and we wanted to make sure everything is ok. Alright?"my dad consulted

"Yes I understand and everything is fine. When the time comes if Emma and I still feel the same then she will have to find out. Otherwise we will have to end it all."

I got up and went to bed thinking about what they said and wondering about what would happen to Emma and me. Would we last? would we be together forever like we promised? would we get hurt? what would happen to us?
