Heartbreaking Experience

Third Person P.O.V.

After the day with her friends and Subaru, Yume feels confused. She keeps blushing and her heart keeps fluttering when thinking of Subaru. When remembering his smiles and ocean blue eyes, she cannot help but feels warm inside her heart.

" What is this feeling? " She questions when touching her chest. " Maybe jogging is a good choice to make me calm down... " 

Ako is laying on the bed inside her room. She rolls on it when thinking something important. 

" Should I confess to him...? " She softly whispers to herself.

She actually wants to confess her feelings to Subaru. She loves him so much for a long time. She knows, it is a good timing for her to express her feelings of love to him. If she does not express to him now, it may be too late since Yume will steal him away from her.

" Aah! " She suddenly sits up. " Okay. I will confess to him today. " 

She takes out her phone and texts Subaru.

Can you meet me at 1:00 p.m. in the garden? I have something important to tell you.

Okay. Fine.

" Alright! I need to prepare a box of chocolate to him. " She says when rushing to the kitchen.

Ako rushes to the rose garden at school after making the chocolates. It takes her so much time, so she is almost late.

When she arrives, she already sees Subaru there. 

" S-sorry... I am late... " Ako says when gasping for air.

Subaru shrugs casually, and says, " That's okay. I just arrive too. " 

" So... what do you want to tell me? "

Ako calms down herself and breathes in a large amount of air. Before exhaling, she shouts loudly, " I love you! Subaru kyun! " 

Yume is jogging at school. When she walks pass the rose garden, she notices Subaru inside. 

" Subaru kun...? " She blushes slightly when murmuring his name. 

When she decides to enter and call out his name, she notices that Ako is rushing towards him. When seeing this, she immediately hides behind a bush. When watching them chat, she finds something strange inside her heart. 

" Why will I feel angry...? " 

Then, she is almost faint when she hears that Ako says " I love you! Subaru kyun! " loudly. She knows, her heart has been broken into numerous pieces. Although she does not know the reasons, she just knows, if she continues to hear, if she knows the answer from Subaru, she will be even hurt. Therefore, she runs away.

" I love you! Subaru kyun! " Ako finally yells her feelings out loud. 

However, after her confession, there is only silence left there.

Ako looks at the ground because of embarrassment. She slowly takes out her chocolates to him when still refusing to look at him directly. 

" Hope you accept it too. I made it for you... " She says sheepishly.

Silence is still surrounding them. Ako starts feeling impatient. She tries to peek at his face. What hurt her is, he seems to be uneasy and uncomfortable towards her confession. 

He finally says something, " Saotome san... Sorry... I don 't love you at all... You should desire a better person than me... " 

He accepts the chocolate. " I will accept this chocolate as friends... Sorry... " 

After he finishes her words, he leaves without any words. 

That's left Ako crying heavily in the garden. She truly knows, the reason he does not accept her, is that he loves her best friend, Nijino Yume...

Yume runs away when weeping. She does not know why. She just feels pain in her heart. Tears are streaming out uncontrollably and fall down her cheek continuously.

The sky seems to know her sorrow and starts crying with her. The cold rain drops on her body, giving her even more grief. In this emotional situation, she cannot help but cries out loud. She kneels down on the ground weakly when it rains even heavy. 

When she comes back to her room, she is wet totally from head to the legs. Her hair and clothes are all dripping wet.

She takes a shower and changes her clothes blankly. Then, she drifts off on her bed without any expressions.

The next day...

When she gets up, she feels dizzy and heavy in her head. She tries her best to sit up, but she cannot do so. She places a hand on her forehead and can only feel great heat on it.

After sitting up on the bed painfully, she takes her phone and searches for someone for help. After looking for friends in the list, she cannot find someone suitable. Her friends all have works today. They are busy, so she cannot make them worried about her. Finally, she notices a name, Subaru Yuki. Tears starts falling down again. She wipes them away at once. 

" That's okay. I can go to the hospital by myself..." She says when getting down the bed.

I will never find him again... I hate him...
