Chapter 5: Country Sun

Sian's grandma walks out to the horse stalls "Now Sian, you know what to do right?." Sian laughs "Of course I do, who do you think I am?" Ebony jumps up "SIAN!." Sian face palms herself, "That's not the point." Chloe adds on "Dude Ebony actually does have a point, you are Sian." Sian looks at Chloe then at Ebony "You think your funny now, look who's gonna be laughing when you two have to mount the horses." Everyone goes silent expect Sian's grandmas " Sian don't be acting smart to these girls, okay?" Sian mutters "Alright then."

Sian demonstrates how to put on a saddle, how to mount the horse and how to actually make the horse do canter. Ebony once again drifts off into a daydream she thinks to herself:

"There is no chance that I will be able to ride a horse like look at me, I'm not capable of doing anything because I'm just a girl that nobody ca-."

Before she could finish her thought, it was interrupted by a familiar voice, a voice that soothes her soul:

" Baby girl, you have every chance in the world.. you can do anything you put your heart into, you are capable of so much baby, I love you.. and I never want to hear you say that nobody cares about you because I know damn well that everyone cares about you okay, be happy."

Ebony blushes because she realises that Tippi- Her boyfriend- was the one who's voice was soothing her sadness.. However sadness quickly took over again as Tippi wasn't there by her side. Even after what he said she brushed it off as it were nothing."

Five hours pass, Everyone was riding horses all day every now and again Chloe and Ebony's horses would ride of in another direction, probably just to annoy them. As for Sian, whenever the horses would go off in another direction she would have to round them all back together again. Ebony is frustrated as she couldn't' ride the horse properly yet.

The sun starts to set behind the trees, Sian's grandma whistles for the girls to go inside to grab there things and put them in the car as they were about to go to the hotel they were staying at. Ebony is confused "Wait a second, wouldn't it just of been easier if we just left our things in the car?" Sian's grandma replied "Well yes but I thought you guys could of  warmed up your muscles, ready for the horse riding." Ebony shouted " AHHH SERIOUSLY, THAT WAS HARD WORK YOU KNOW." Everyone laughed.
