The next few days, ok maybe few weeks, Ryder and Emily have gotten a lot closer and Emily had finally met Ryder's son, and to say he was the exact replica of his father would an understatement. The 3 year old had the same eyes and hair color as Ryder. He was a lovely little boy that had gotten closer to Emily during the weeks that she and Ryder would meet up at the same café shop down the street from the Lombardi residence and he has taken a liken to little Peter, who was oblivious to the world around him. Ryder had gone to the house a few times when Emily's brothers had arrived and they were surprised to see a familiar yet unfamiliar face at their doorstep with a toddler clinging to him like a baby koala. Ethan had been the first to recognize him the day he had showed up at the house looking for Emily. The reason why he had recognized him of the bat was because of his hair and hazel eyes that always seemed to attract attention and that Emily had fallen in love with. He was the only one that knows about her feelings towards the raven haired, tattooed, hazel eyed boy and he promised to never tell anyone and even after 13 years, he still hasn't spilled out the secret to anyone. Over the years, Marcus, Tony and Chris gradually learned about little Emily's feelings for the older boy but they hadn't asked or said anything regarding such feelings to her. By the time she was in 16 she had found the boy she thought would help her forget about her childhood love but that didn't quite work out, so now she's back in London, a relationship was starting to form between them but they didn't push it as they wanted to take things slow and gradually build it up from there. Little Peter was now 3 months old and he was looking more and more like his father which only hurts Emily more. She thought she was in love with him, but it seemed that the feeling was never there as she always thought about her childhood crush that was now her boyfriend.
"What are you thinking about?" Ryder asked breaking Emily out of her thoughts
"Uh nothing just how Peter looks like his dad every day" she replied and he nodded in understanding
"I hear ya, love, people tell me that my son looks like his mom every passing day" Ryder said making Emily give him a look of disbelief
"Clearly they are blind, he looks exactly like you" she replied making him chuckle
"You and a few other people think that, but if you were to see a picture of his mum you will think that he does" he responded
"Nuh uh, I'm pretty sure that he looks like you, minus the nose but that's it" Emily retorted
"Peter looks like you babe" Ryder said and Emily shook her head and showed him a picture of Aaron and Ryder did a double look between the three and said
"He does look like him but he doesn't have his eyes or nose" he stated making Emily smile
"That's the only things that he took from me, the rest is pure Aaron" she sighed
"Do you still love him?" Ryder asked from his spot on the bed
"No, I loved him at one point but I don't anymore" Emily replied leaning down so that her forehead was against Ryder's
"I love you Ryder and only you" she whispered
"I love you too" Ryder replied with a smile pecking her lips softly before pulling back to look at her, she had a big smile on her face one that he had loved all his life since he met her 13 years ago.
"You're so beautiful" he murmured making her blush and softly hit his chest making him chuckle
"Am not" she mumbled
"Are to"
"Am not"
"Yes"
"No"
