Jimin leaned over the dark abyss to try and see where the voice came from. He'd recognised the voice immediately of course, it was the voice of his first love, Yoongi. The older male didn't say anything, he simply screamed. Screamed over and over again. Jimin looked over the edge of the drop and that's when saw him. Yoongi had tears streaming down his face and his arms, that were reaching out for anything to hold on to, we're bruised and cut.
"HYUNG!" Jimin yelled down, hoping his older friend would see him. Yoongi apparently didn't hear him and he continues doing what he was doing before; looking for someone to save him.
"HYUNG! I'M HERE, HYUNG!"
Yoongi looked at him for a second before two seemingly purple hands reached up from behind him, the left hand covering his mouth and the right hand covering his eyes. Jimin screamed in fear, hoping the hands would just go away.
"NO! YOONGI HYUNG! LET HIM BE! YOONGI!"
"Jimin, Yoongi is gone." A voice from behind Jimin said. The voice was like velvet, and he saw two hands stretch from behind him through the corners of his eyes. He screamed more, wanting the hands to dissappear even more.
"He's gone, Jimin. Gone."
"NO! HE ISN'T GONE! HE'S RIGHT THE-"
"JIMIN! WAKE UP! YOONGI IS GONE!"
Jimin opened his eyes to see the familiar view of his roommate Taehyung leaning over him, gripping tightly on the older's shoulders. Taehyung put his hand under Jimin's neck and helped him sit up. "It's ok Jimin, it was just a nightmare..." Taehyung leaned forward and hugged Jimin, patting the back of his head. Jimin just sat there, crying into his classmate's shoulder. "I know it's hard, but you need to move on. Don't forget him, just move on. Don't let it bother you anymore." Taehyung said, trying to reassure his hyung. He pulled away from the hug and looked at the time. "We have school in an hour. Do you think you can go?"
"Yeah, if I don't go some teacher is just going to come find me..."
"I can go to Mr Byun's office and tell him you're sick. Or you could just go to Wellbeing." The brunette offered. Taehyung was famous for being year 10's visual god. He had big, soft, chestnut eyes that everyone swooned over, and a tall, built body. He was also a talented musician and played the saxophone in Seoul's biggest Orchestra for children. Everyone saw him as the perfect human.
"I'll go to Wellbeing if I need to, but I think I can manage for now." Jimin said reassuringly with a weak, forced smile. Taehyung hated seeing his friend hurt but he didn't want to force Jimin to do anything he didn't want.
"Ok. We have math first, so I'll be with you through that." Taehyung looked at the timetable Jimin had pinned on his wall. "I have music second lesson, you have PE. Jimin..." The younger looked at Jimin apologetically. "I-"
"It's fine Tae, I can manage. I know Youngbin's in that class but so is Namjoon. Don't worry." Jimin said, crossing his legs.
"Ok, third lesson I have..." Taehyung looked at the roof, trying to remember what lesson he had. "I have History." He glanced at Jimin's timetable. "You have Singing." He noticed Jimin had fear in his eyes when Tae mentioned singing and was confused for a second, but instantly snapped his fingers angrily. "That's right, Inseong... Jimin, if things get too bad... just leave the class. Teach with understand." Jimin nodded. He looked at the timetable and sighed with relief when he realised he had a free lesson on 4th period.
A hand, laced with a purple glove, placed the letter on the foot of Jimin's bed. The envelope was the same dark purple as the hand, with a red wax stamp holding it closed.
"Ok, so that lesson is fine. And I assume you don't have any extra classes today?"
Jimin blinked at looked at Taehyung. The younger was sitter where the letter had been placed, and Jimin swore he could see the tip of a purple envelope peek out from under his crossed legs.
"Jimin?"
Jimin shook his head and looked up.
"Sorry, what were you saying?" Taehyung sighed and facepalmed.
"Do you have any extra lessons today?" He asked.
"Um... no, but I intend on staying at the library to study for a few hours." Jimin answered.
"Ok. I'm pretty sure Namjoon is too but I'll text him just in case. I'll see you later, ok?" Taehyung smiled at Jimin before standing up and walking out of the bedroom.
Jimin's breath hitched as he saw the purple envelope on the bottom of his bed, exactly where the hand had put it.
