Noona? [ Jungkook FF ]

-Shinhee's POV-

I'm sorry Yugyeom and Minjae unnie... I chose Jungkook.

"I... I love... You too," I finally managed to squeeze out the words and Jungkook's face lit up. He jumped around like a little kid and hugged me.

I blushed shades of red as he dug his face into the crook of my neck. Ah... I'm not ready for this much fluff.

"J-jungkook I can't breathe," I said. Why was I stuttering so much today?

"AWW I'm sorry but I can't believe that Shinhee noona is my GIRLFRIEND AHAHAHAH!" He said and did a victory dance and I facepalmed myself. Just how energetic can this kid get?

Suddenly, I remembered about Minjae and Yugyeom.

"Jungkook ah, should we go find Minjae and Yugyeom? We have lost track of time and they might get kidnapped you know?" I said and started to push him out of the arcade.

"I'll go find Minjae and you find Yugyeom, okay?" I said and he nodded as we parted ways.

I went to the park Minjae unnie and I always played at when we were young since it was the place she'd most likely go to when she feels heartbroken or sad.

However, there was no sight of Minjae and I started to panic. Aish!  Minjae unnie might be in danger if she was left alone, ugh...

Then, I decided to go to the bakery she always buys bread from. She loves bread and maybe she'll go buy bread to relieve her stress and sadness.

I walked into the bakery and the cashier greeted me, we're close friends.

"Chaeyoung ah, have you seen Minjae unnie?" I asked her.

"Well, just now she came and said 'good bye' to me and burst into tears. She then ran out and I was really concerned yet I couldn't put down my work," she said and my eyes widened. What the heck did she mean by good bye? Good bye as in leaving for another country or...

That.

Nooo! It can't be! I quickly ran out of the bakery and spotted a familiar figure standing in front of the road.

Minjae...

"Minjae! No!" I shouted but everything was too late. A huge truck drove past while Minjae ran to the center of the road.

BANG!

The truck came to an abrupt stop, Minjar was laying on the road, with blood covering her entire face and body.

The truck stopped, I stopped, the world stopped.

It was like time froze, I was shocked, I couldnt believe my eyes. Minjae...

The sirens of ambulances brought me back to reality as I ran to the center of the road where Minaje laid.

The truck driver was helping the ablulance carry Minjae up onto a stretcher as they put her in the ambulance.

I went up to one of the paramedics and begged with tears, "Please let me go with her, she's my closest friend and I could not bear to lose her. PLEASE! If I can't go, at least try your best to save her... Please..." Tears kept flowing down my face. Who knew, such a normal day could have so much twists.

One normal set up turned into two confessions and then into a bloody accident... Involving my closest friend...

My 'sister'.

"C'mon, hop on then," the paramedic said and I went into the ambulance together with Minjae unnie.

"Ring..." My phone rang and I looked at the caller ID — Jungkook.  Right, I forgot about him and Yugyeom.

With quivering hands, I pressed the 'accept' button.

"Hello? Shinhee noona, I found Yugyeom already and he is now resting at home probably sobbing cause I think he overheard us or something. He explained the whole thing and I told him about us. He calmed down cause he's mature enough to know what things he should and should not do. Anyways, you wanna hangou-" I cut him off.

"Jungkook," my voice seemed so weak as my lips quivered, together with my hands, my whole body.

"Shinhee noona? What happened?" He asked.

"P-please come to the hospital next to Chillz Café, please, I need you urgently," I said as my voice cracked more and more by every syllable.

"What happened?! Okay, I'll be right there," he said and hang up.

We reached the hospital and the doctors quickly moved her to the emergency room as I silently prayed.

Please survive unnie... Remember that no matter what, you're always my most beloved 'sister' and...

I love you.
