Noona? [ Jungkook FF ]

-Shinhee's POV-

I looked down to my left hand.

Eh?

Eh?!

Jungkook is holding my hand?! Are you serious? Is this like a dream or something? Well, apparently it's not.

I looked at out connected hands and couldn't help but blush. It's techniquely the first time a guy ever held my hand, how can I not panic.

As we reached, Jungkook let go of my hand and I was a bit disappointed.

"Bye Shinhee noona, see you tomorrow at work," he smiled and waved at me.

"But... I don't have work tomorrow, I only have work on Saturdays and Sundays," I explained to him and he looked down.

"Aww, it's fine," he said and mumbled something incoherent I wasn't able to hear.

After, I went into our dorm and I saw Minjae unnie sitting on the bed, sulking.

"Unnie," I called out so she could notice me.

"Ah, Shinhee, you're back. I'm sorry for my behaviour just now, I was just... Just... Jealous," she said as a tear slid down her cheeks.

Guilt gnawed at me and I could tell that she really liked Jungkook and I shouldn't be interfering. She even shed a tear for him, what else could that mean?!

Suddenly, an idea crept into my mind.

"Minjae unnie, since you like him so much, why don't I set you two up?" I suggested and her face brightened up.

"Really? You'll do that for me?" She asked and pointed at herself.

I firmly nodded and she came up and gave me a big hug.

"You're the best dongsaeng ever!" She said as we pulled away.

We then started to discuss about how to set those two up.

"Maybe this Saturday, we could go to somewhere and I'll leave so you two can be alone," I said.

"Sounds great, but where?"

"The amusement park?"

"Nah, all guys go to amusement park just to ride the roller coasters and scream and shout, not romantic at all,"

"Oh," I replied and tried thinking of another place.

"Aha! Why don't we go near the river at night, so the both of you can look at the view of the river romantically?" I said and she beamed.

"Good idea," and she gave a thumbs up.

We got everything planned and we just have to wait for the day to arrive...

-Time skip to Saturday evening-

Jungkook, Minjae, I and our other colleagues just finished work and we were all 'set free'. I gathered Jungkook and Minjae in front of me to tell them, mostly Jungkook, about tonight's plan.

"Jungkook, and Minjae unnie, today, us three, as to celebrate our friends ship, are going to the river to enjoy the beautiful view!" I announced and they cheered loudly, especially Minjae.

We sat on the bus and rode to where the river was and alighted. By that time, the sun had already set and the lights from different buildings shone, reflecting from the river, creating a magnificent view.

"Wah, this is so beautiful," Minjae said as the three of us leaned against the railing of a bridge to look at the river.

"It sure is," Jungkook said as we admired the view.

Then, it was time.

"Uh, I forgot something at the bus stop, I think I should get it!" I came up with an excuse, hoping Jungkook would believe me.

"Then I'll come with you," he said and I vigorously shook my head.

"NO! Ah... I mean um, you can't. Because the thing is really personal and Minjae unnie needs someone's accompaniment too, so bye!" I said and sped off to the bus stop.

Oh well, let's just see how this'll go.

-Jungkook's POV-

I was really, really disappointed when Shinhee noona rejected me. Did she perhaps not like me to accompany her to get her stuff? I mean, she's a girl and it's night time, anything could happen to her.

"Jungkook ah, are you nervous?" minjae noona asked out of the blue which brought me back to reality.

"Ah, nope. Why would I be?" I asked.

"Because I am, you know the feeling when someone you like stands in front of you and your heart goes crazy? And also, when they smile, all the butterflies in your stomach goes whoop whoop and you feel so excited yet nervous at the same time?" She said which made me confused.

What? A person she like?

"That's called love," Minjae noona added and she kept quiet later on.

Love...

Heart goes crazy...

Butterflies...

Perhaps...

I'm in love?
