General POV

"James"

Amy was in disbelief that he is really standing in front of her.
She's so happy, but the reality of the situation finally brings her to reality.
What happened that brought him here?
But the question that may also bother her is what will Jonah think when he finds out that James was Amy's first boyfriend.
They loved each other but they knew it was better of they we're just friends.

Meanwhile Jonah finally breaks out of his shock and approaches James.

"Hi I'm Jonah Amy's boyfriend." He says sternly with a face that clearly says 'don't mess with my girl she's mine'.
Amy already knows his possessiveness has kicked up to it's fullest level.

"Hi I'm Amy's bo...  I mean friend James." Amy's eye widened at what he was about to say. Jonah narrows his eyes at James but then he turns amy towards him and crashes his lips on her. Amy doesn't respond because she doesn't like when he gets so jealous. But then Jonah growls literally growls. Amy responds for a little then pulls away and faces James.
She can't help but notice the hurt that flashes across his face.
But as if he's having an internal battle he shakes it off and looks back at amy and smiles.

She smiles back but then looks around and notices everyone's eye is on them.

"Umm would you like to join us James? " she asks while motioning to the table where a dumbstruck Gabriella is and a very calm Kyle, almost as if he already knows who he is.

"Umm yea sure but let me buy you back an ice cream I see you were busy checking me out that it fell."he teases. They both get up towards the counters. While Jonah just watches them. He wants to punch the guy but he knows amy would get really angry but he still can't fight the feeling that there closer than friends.

"I wasn't checking you out I was just noticing how after all this time you manage to still look as horrible as you did before."

He gasps dramatically, " if I remember well you used to love this. But anyway what's up with Mister grumpy over there."

"He just gets a little possessive. "

"Oh so he was angry at me. I thought he was constipated. "Amy laughs and hits him on his chest, "seriously his face clearly showed constipation.

"Stop it your jealous he has better hair than you. " she sticks out her tongue playfully and pulls him in for a side hug. She wants to ask him what he is doing here but she knows she should wait. Meanwhile jonah doesn't unotice the side hug Amy gave James or the adoration they have in their eyes for each other. He can't help but feel....... Jealous.

"Go and sit down I'll get the ice cream for you. " she nods and heads back to the table.

When she reaches back Gabriella looks at her as if she just won the noble prize. But as she finally recovers from her shock she speaks up.

"Amy. Who is that? He is handsome like seriously oh my God. Wish wow. Like damn."

"He's a really close friend of mine. He's the reason I'm here today. He saved me, in every he could've. He's my best friend. "Amy mumbles softly. At this statement Jonah is full of rage but he tries to calm down himself.
He notices James come back with one ice cream in his hand. He sits next to amy on her right with Gabriella on left and plants a loving kiss on the cheek. Amy smiles broadly at this action and blushes. Then he gives her the ice cream.

" thank you, " she mumbles,  "where's yours? " and glances at James.
He smirks a swoon worthy smirk and bends down and licks off some her ice cream from her cone and says,  " right here. " while maintaining eye contact the whole time.
