Jonah's POV

After watching the stars and Amy telling me about how she used to watch it with here mom we headed back home.
Well to Amy's house.

She took me up to her room and we laid on her bed and talked.
"I had a great night Jonah thank you."she told me her voice sounded so sleepy it was barely above her breath I almost didn't hear her.
"No problem honey. " I told her as I pulled her closer to me so her head was lying on my chest and I was stroking her hair. It was soft like silk. I looked at her she was slowly closing her eyes as she cuddled more into me and I gladly pulled her impossibly closer.
Her quiet breaths telling me she was asleep.
I took the opportunity to admire her she was beautiful. She wasn't a cheerleader or the most popular girl but she was beautiful because she is kind and thinks of others that's her beauty. Her hair slightly falling in her face but I moved it away. Her lips closed together showing of her pink plump lips. And her Smokey makeup making her look kinda like a diva.
How life can change around in an instant. One moment I was the geek nobody liked, then I was the guy who's mom died then I was the captain of the football team in just the first year of college. I fought with my dad all the time. Life seemed kinda empty but then this girl came in my life in my third year of college I was already twenty one while she was nineteen turning twenty she is a genius so we only have one more year of college.

She wasn't those normal girls who were uptight about what to wear and how they look. She was just her and that's what I love about her. Yeah I know I said I wasn't sure if I loved her but I actually do it's just I'm cautious of falling in love AGAIN.

Amy moved slightly and opened her eyes taking me in a trance because whenever I saw those eyes that was it for me she held me under her trap.
"I'm sorry. Did I dribble."she asked while lifting her head looking a bit self conscious.
I shook my head and smiled while pulling her head back down to my chest.

She sighed and molded her self into me.
"I can't imagine a moment more perfect than this Jonah. Your my boyfriend I can't believe it. "
She said with excitement laced in every word she said.

"I know I can't believe it's real either but it is and I won't ever let you go again. " I really couldn't believe it I was proud to be able to say now my girlfriend is Amy Cortez. Wow.
She leaned upwards and kissed me on the cheek. Even that made me feel like I was on cloud nine.

"Hey Amy it's embarrassing to ask this since I think I'm supposed to know, by now but what is your major? "

She chuckled and sighed, "I'm majoring in music and I'm doing a minor in Spanish, cause I wanna be a Singer or plan b is either teach music or teach Spanish. What about you? "

Haha she didn't know what, I was doing either. We've only had literature together and I never really asked so yeah.

"Well I am majoring in veterinary studies and I'm doing a minor in literature. I always wanted to be a veterinarian... Why do you want to be a Singer."
I notice her body tensed but then she took a deep breath and told me.

"My father he used to be a famous Singer Tim Cortez... "

"Oh yeah he used to sing Spanish music and country my mom used to listen to him all the time. I remember my mother singing his songs. My mom was always sick so the memories with her are kinda sad but I remember her trying to sing his songs it was really funny. "She smiled at me it was so calming how her smile would make me forget everything.

"That's sweet.. But he met my mom and he stopped singing for a little he said he'd give up anything for his family. So yeah. "
She looked at the ceiling as if remembering her parents. I mustered up the courage to ask her again.
