Chapter 1 - Here we go again

I hear a loud knock at my door as I hear my mom say "Wake up Ava it's time for school" she said opening my door as she threw a pillow at my face just so she could walk away and giggle.

I got out of bed and looked in my closet to find something to wear. When I finally found a crop top with black and white going across it, and black jegging's with a distressed look, hey just because I'm bigger than most girls doesn't mean I can't show of what I got. I proceed to walk to the bathroom saying good morning to my mother, about 15 minutes later I put lotion on and my clothes finishing with some vanilla and mocha body spray .

After that I sat down in front of my mirror and struggled to get my hair into a sleek bun. After forcing my hair to do something it didn't want to I caked my face with makeup but I made sure to make it seem a little natural by putting on a shimmery gloss that had no color just a shine.

When I was done I walked into the kitchen where I saw my mom on the phone laughing "Barbara girl you better stop" she said as she popped on the P, then she notice me " oh hi h- " she was cut off and widened her eyes " Barbara Monique Anthony" she said as she cupped her hand over her mouth. I payed no mind as I said goodbye and she waved as I walk to the door exiting and closing the door behind me hearing a muffled voice on the inside of the door " Have a nice day hunny" she said right after I closed the door.

I walk over to my car bring out my keys to get in my 2016 Jaguar F not to fancy

I was sitting in front of the school getting my stuff ready to get out. I got out and got immediately greeted by my friend Eve, I know are names are nearly the same. Her mother was Barbara "hints-my moms best friend" we were friends since I was 6.

She pulled me in for a tight hug as we both strolled to the entrance of the school. We walked over to our lockers luckily her locker was to the right of mine, we had small talk "Guess what?" She said clapping her hands jumping up and down "What" I ask looking confused "I heard there a hot new guy coming to our school" she blurted out so loud I thought everyone in the hall could hear us but they paid no mind.

I just look at her staring, I really didn't care about cute guys and new people cause nobody really liked me at this school except Eve. She looked at me confused " Aren't you happy this is your chance" she said nudging my shoulder back "Chance to what" I ask looking confused "To you know getcha self a mans" she said improperly on purpose I pursed my lips and smacked them " Girl please getcho crazy ass on" I said and laughed with her until her eyes widened as her face went dull "what? Are you ok Eve" I said and she tapped my shoulder and pointed behind me.
