"Come on, we must get you back." They said, grabbing your hand tightly and pulling out of the hug. You blushed slightly and leaned your head on their arm. Falling didn't seem to affect you, apart from the constant dropping of your stomach and your flying hair.
They tightened the grip, and you winced slightly. They seemd to be mumbling Something, but quiet enough that the whooshing sound of air rushing past stole the words.
Suddenly, it felt like your skin was too small for you, like it would tear any second. Your eyelids were forced down and seemed to be glued shut, and your lungs retracted, cutting off most of your air- you could barely breathe. There was a flash of white.

"Breathe... come on Y/n..." A recognisable voice said desperately. An odd sensation filled you, like you were still dreaming. But you were awake. You knew it.
"Breathe.. Oh please Y/n..." The voice sighed again, but not impatiently. It sounded like desperation crossed with borderline sadness.
"Please... Breathe..."Breathe... Why were they telling you to breathe? Breathing was easy. People do it subconsciously, so why were they asking you to breathe?
Oh, right...
You weren't breathing. That might be why. Maybe you should start breathing. Your chest felt tight. Might be because you weren't breathing. You inhaled, taking a strong, but shallow, breath. Your chest heaved, and the pain in your lungs faded away. The air had that earthy scent, like it had just rained. The floor beneath you was wooden, but slightly soft and damp with rain.
"Y/n! Y/n, are you..!" They said excitedly. They seemed relieved. You continued breathing. The person was murmuring under their breath.
You opened your eyes slowly, squinting. A concerned face leaned over you, soon lighting up with joy.
"Y/n! Oh thank Toby! I thought you were..." Chara said, heaving a sigh of relief.
"Hey Chara. You-you saved me." You smiled, "From that weird Error Sans guy. Thanks."
Chara bit their lip, and looked away. Something was wrong. You sat up.
"Chara? What's-" You were quickly cut off."Y/n... What are you talking about?" They said, but they sounded like they knew exactly what you were talking about.
"You know... Error Sans pulled me into the water and then tried to kill me but you saved me.. and zapped me out.." You tried, giving them a half-smile.
"Y/n, you must have been dreaming. I... You almost drowned. You most likely fell into the water, because I found you sinking to the bottom." They said, looking to the left.
"You have been coughing up water, and you did almost drown, but you weren't dreaming." Said another. You looked around, searching for the voice. Nobody else really remained now. You had killed them all, hadn't you?
Eventually, your eyes rested upon a figure. Most of their body was covered by white rectangles constantly glitching around, other parts warping and shaking, some white glitch parts trying to cover it. The only part of the figure you could definitely see, were a pair of shoes.
"Ah! Chara!" You yelled, scrambling away from the figure rapidly as you pointed.
Chara tossed your knife to you and you caught it, pointing it at the figure. Chara spinned and turned towards where you were pointing, knife poised. They frowned.
"Y/n, what exactly are you pointing at?" They turned to look at you.
"The-The figure! There! Look!" You said frantically, but looking a bit unsure.
