Feelings and Deal Making

    "What the hell are you doing in the city?!?" Shanks had the most angriest look you have ever seen. He took a glance at Sabo. "Get out. Me and (y/n) have important things to discuss." He mutters harshly. Sabo didn't move a single inch.

    "He's staying right where he is." You snap. Shanks looked at you with shock his brows still knit together in anger. "And you will listen to exactly what I'm going to tell you." The redhead shut the door behind him and stood there waiting.

    "Sabo was the one who took me to the city." You start.

    "SO IT WAS HIS FAULT!!!" He screams, glaring at Sabo.

    "I'm not done talking!" Shanks grows quiet. You sigh. "Why do you never listen? You always jump to conclusions without knowing the whole thing! Why are you so over protective of me?!" Tears began to form in your eyes and Shanks took notice of this. He hated to see you get this way.

"(Y/n). I told you about the risks of coming to the city." His voice became calmer, but there was still a hint of frustration in his tone. "If anything happened to you then I would have failed you and your Mother."

"I don't want you protecting me like I'm a child. I'm an adult now!" You quickly stood up from the bed. Despite the pain searing through your leg, you managed to balance your weight on your good one. This made both males gape at you in shock.

"Then what is it that you want?" Looking away from you, dreaded anticipation could be seen in his face while he waited for your answer.

    "I want to be with Sabo." The redhead turned back to you. There wasn't any emotion present on his face. You could see a mix of emotions flashing in his eyes. Confusion, anger, concern.

    "Why?" You hesitated.

    "Ever since I first met him a few days ago, I've been feeling a sense of security around him. He was an old friend of mine when I was a child, before you made me leave him behind." You didn't care if Sabo was listening. You've grown comfortable enough around him that you weren't afraid to admit your feelings. "Also...I love him."

"I see." Shanks mumbles. Your leg decided to finally give out making you land back into the bed. "You trust him that much?"

"I do."

"Even though you don't know him that well?" You nodded in response. The whole time Sabo looked at you in surprise at your bold confessions. You didn't know if the blonde felt the same for you. "But does he feel the same for you?" You hesitated. There was a long silence on the room. It was quiet enough for you to hear whispers on the other side of the door.

"I do love her." Sabo broke the silence and you whipped your head around to face him. You were stunned. You hadn't expected him to respond. You had doubted he would feel the same for you. Slowly you smiled at the blonde and he smiled back.

    "Promise me this." Shanks starts. "That you will not bring (y/n) to the city, EVER."

    "Shouldn't she at least be able to step foot in the city though? I know it's dangerous and all."

    "No." There was silence for a minute.

    "Then lets make a deal." Shanks glances at the blonde.

'Sabo's gonna try to make a deal with him? It won't work.' You mentally sigh.

"Allow (y/n) to enter the city as she pleases, but she's limited to your territory and Newgates territory." Shanks looks away for a moment, pondering whether it was a good idea or not.

"On one condition." Shanks starts. "(Y/n) is not allowed to enter Kaido or Charlottes territory. She's not allowed to be alone either. Nor is she allowed near any police stations."

"I can agree to that."

"Then we have a deal." Shanks extends his hand and Sabo takes it. "If anything happens to her..." he pauses. "There will be hell to pay." Shanks then left without saying anything to you.

'It actually worked?!?" You stared at the door in complete shock. You felt Sabo wrap his arms around you from behind.

"You love me?" His chin rested on your shoulder and you could feel his warm breath on your neck, making you shiver. You nodded solemnly. He chuckles kissing your cheek. "I love you too (y/n)." A blush became present on your features.

    "How did you do that?" You mumbled.

    "Do what?"

    "Convince Shanks to make a deal?" Sabo closed his eyes and hummed, deep in thought.

    "I don't know. Does he not make deals often?"

    "It's almost impossible to make a deal with that man!" You turn your body to face him which made him let you go.

    "Well, I guess I got lucky." He grins. " I really do love you, (y/n)." He murmurs before pressing his lips to yours in a passionate and loving kiss. You instantly wrap your arms around his neck and return the kiss. It didn't last long when someone came into the room, making the two of you break apart. It was Law and he had the look of disgust on his face.

    "If you don't mind, I came to check in on (y/n)." Law grumbles. You both were blushing messes right now. Law proceeded to tell you that you were given the ok to go home tonight. He also gave you crutches to use for a few weeks. "Also the medical bill has already been taken care of."

    "Who payed for it?!?" You asked, shocked.

    "Shanks did." Law quickly exits the room before you could question him further.

    "And I was thinking of paying the bill too." You glanced at Sabo's statement in shock.

    "It's not your responsibility to pay for  that!" You tell him sternly.

    "I thinks it's time we headed home." He chuckles. You smile at him.

    "Yeah."
