Dom and letty: A love like this

Doms pov:
We are going to the shelter today to meet our match. We walk in and the woman behind the desk steps forward.

"hello how may I help you today?"

"hi were here to see some of the dogs you guys have."

"Mr.toretto right?"

"yes we called this morning.0

"right ok well follow me."

We walk I into where they have all the bigger dogs.

"this is piper she is 1 year old Labrador mix and she was neglected by her old owners." a sad little sat there just staring at us.

" This is frenchie he is a husky and PitBull mix and well they used him for breeding purposes only." A little energy ball just bouncing up and down at the sight of people.

I could tell that letty was so sad to hear about the two dogs stories but we decided to continue and we saw a PitBull a pure PitBull. The woman was gonna pass him so I stepped in.

"what about him?"

"Thats eddie he's a pure pitbull he is barley 1 year old now this one..he's had quite the life."

"what do you mean?" letty asks.

"They used him for illegal dog fights, he has been returned twice due to the fact that he's a PitBull when we found him he was so scared and he was tied up in a really heavy chain in the cold and well if he doesn't get adopted soon.." a 35 pound pitbull with scars on his back and a scratch on his face half smiles.

"I want him can you set up a meet. Please." letty says and the woman nods she leads us to a room where they will bring the dog in. me and letty take a seat and Soon enough they walk in with Eddie as soon as Eddie walks in he goes straight to letty and simply sits by her feet facing the door he looks back at letty and I think I actually saw him smile it was like a thank you and letty saw it too she had a tear in her eye.

"are you crying?" I ask

"no I had something in my eye." she says wiping the tear. Eddie looks over at me and he walks over to me and jumps on me as if he was a puppy and out of nowhere he lays on the floor and puts his head on his paws almost as if he was praying.

"we want him."

"ok you just need to fill out some papers."

"ok ill go, You stay with our champ." I say.

"ok"
Lettys pov:

He's so calm I love it. Eddie gets up and lays his head on my lap. Dom comes in and trys to give me a kiss but Eddie barks at him.

"really another cockblocker." he says and I laugh. Eddie got home with us and right as we entered he ran to his bed and toys it made me cry because it seemed like this was his first home and I might have cried because of my hormones. I sat down and all of a sudden I felt water drip.Eddie started barking and went to go look for dom.

"Dom?!?!!"

"what's wrong?"

"my water just broke."

"lets go ill get the bag with all your stuff."

I get in the car and dom is ready we race to the hospital and at exactly 6:30 AM august 25th a 7 pound baby boy was born. Dom stepped out to get me some water.

"what are you gonna name him?" one of the nurses asks me.

"Mateo Anthony toretto."

"ok your all set congratulations."

"thank you."

She walks out and dom walks back in with some water.

"You owe me big time toretto."

"I know Mrs.toretto."

"Wheres Mateo?" Dom asks

"The nurse went to run a couple test on him."

"Oh ok."

"So whos here?"

"Brian, Mia, and Your mom."

"My mom?"

"Yes."

"Mija."

"Mom!?"

"yes its me."

" I thought you left."

"I wouldn't miss this."

"Im leaving tomorrow."

"ok well im just happy you were able to make it."

"I love you."

"i love you too."

"I love you three." me and my mom look at dom. "sorry i felt left out."

we laughed and hugged and by the end of the day my mom kissed me goodbye and was able to meet her grandson.
