It was around five in the morning when Ally found herself looking through the fridge,
Again.
There was really nothing in there except for a carton of milk, ketchup, beer, and bread. There wasn't even cold brew coffee!
"Well, we meet again." A voice chuckled behind her. Ally gasped and whipped her head around to see Felix standing there with a goofy smile on his face. He was standing in front of her, the only light seeped out of the refrigerator. They met for to second under the same circumstances as the first.
"Jesus! W-wh-how did you get it here?" She asked, confusion evident in her voice.
He shrugged nonchalantly, twirling a bunch of keys in his fingers."Did PJ give you that?!" She asked, concerned. Felix's smug face twisted
into a look of confusion."What? No, you gave it to me a long time ago. I just never used it."
"I did?"
Felix rolled his eyes.
"Yes, you did. And by the way," he started.
"It's five am in the morning, aren't you supposed to be asleep?"
She shrugged.
"I'm supposed to be a lot of things but I liv to disappoint."
Felix stared at her with pain, she really didn't like him anymore. Well, who would? After he lead her on and acted as if she was the villain.
They stared at each other for a moment, before she turned around to make herself a ketchup sandwich.
"What are you here for anyways?" She asked, taking the bread and ketchup. Ally wondered what he could be doing in her home at 5am in the morning. Felix sighed deeply.
"Marzia and I had a fight."
Ally's mouth turned into an O-shape as she looked at him. His eyes didn't seem to hold the same sadness and pain like they did the last time they broke up.
"More like, I broke up with her. I think she's..packing? -to move back to Italy with her parents."
Ally really didn't know what to say, so she didn't. She just patted him on his back.
"Why? Why did you guys fight?"she asked.
Felix sighed again, his lips twitching into a half smile. Instead of answering her question, he stared at her. Her hair was a mess and she was in her pajamas, but that didn't stop him from falling in love with her,
Again.
"Well?" She asked again.
He took a deep breath.
"It...it was because of you."
Ally's eyes widened as she dropped the stale bread and the ketchup in her hands.
"Wait, what? Why?"she stammered, frantically picking them back up.
"I still like-no love you. Being with Marzia only proved my point."
Ally groaned, rolling her eyes too. She glared at Felix.
"Just when I have a boyfriend, you try to get back in my life. Felix, it's not fair! You can't play with my feelings and when I finally move on you come crawling back to me. I loved you, Felix. Past tense. I'm with Alfie now. You can't change that."
Felix's expression washed over with hurt and immediately Ally felt bad. That was the kind of the effect he had on her.
"Well, see you when I see you, and lock the door on your way out please." Ally said, leaving him with her weird ketchup sandwich.
Again.
After hearing the door close shut, Felix sighed for the hundredth time. He looked back at where she had been and his eyes lingered there for a little while, before he finally turned around to leave.
I'm going to get you back.
-
the next morning..
Ally woke up with a spray of water on her face. She coughed, sitting up and looking around.
"What the-"
Suddenly Chris jumped on her shaking the whole bed.
"Get up! Let's go to the boardwalk!"
Ally groaned, pulling her head under the covers. Chris jumped off, prying the blanket off of her.
"Why do I always get waken up like this? Let me sleep!"
She peered her head over to see Chris pouting with a sad look on his face and he immediately resembled a puppy. She looked around her room and there stood Sebastian, PJ and Felix in the doorway.
"We're all going, Elizabeth and Scar are coming too." Sebastian noted.
Ally perked up at the mention of the two girls as she blasted out of bed and ransacked her bathroom to freshen up.
"See you guys in the kitchen! Now everyone get the hell out of my room." Ally said in a sing-song voice.
She ushered them out the door and brushed her teeth. She decided that she was too lazy to shower and did not. After washing her face and all that, Ally slipped on an tight tank top and some high waisted shorts. She realized that it would get chilly but she wasn't going to wear any sweaters or anything just because Ally was too lazy to carry it around.
When she made her way downstairs, the smell of pancakes flooded her nostrils.
She found Alfie flipped some rainbow colored pancakes as he looked up and smiled at her.
"There's my favorite girl."
She ran to hug him, nearly tripped over her own feet.
"Where have you been? I missed you." Ally said, her voice muffled as she dug deeper into Alfie's chest. She could feel the vibration of his chuckle.
"I was only gone for a day, Al."
"Yeah, but one day without you feels like one year." She whispered looking up at his chocolate brown eyes.
The sound of a throat clearing startled the both of them as a not-so-amused Felix glared at Alfie.
"If you two love birds are done flirting, some of us would like pancakes, thanks." He grumbled, after leaving them with flushed faces.
Ally sighed, this was going to be a log day.
