Felix twiddled his thumbs and waited for Ally to come into the little coffee shop they had agreed to meet up at to talk. It was pouring outside, the Brighton rain had seemed to be relentless that day. He ordered a cup of coffee and waited. It wasn't her fault that he got there first, in fact, he had been 30 minutes early. He just didn't want to miss her.
The jingle of the doorbell signaled that someone had entered the shop.
Ally stepped in and her eyes wandered around the place, searching for Felix, before her eyes finally settled on him. Her face went pale. She knew she'd had to confront him sooner or later. But it was hard to do that.

"Hey." She said, sitting down nervously.

Felix nodded in response.

"Okay," Ally started.
"I'm really sorry Felix. I didn't know what I was doing. I have no excuses for this but I just hope you know that I know that what I did was wrong. I was just caught in the moment and made this really huge mistake. I hope you can forgive me and I understand if you don't. I'll also understand if you don't want to be with me anymore." She said, tears welling in her eyes. Felix was still silent, not really knowing what to say.
"But just know that still love you and I want nothing but the best for you." As Ally said her final words to him, her voice slowly breaking.
"Goodbye." She said, getting up.
Felix processed everything she said and by the time he snapped out of his daze, she was gone. He saw her walking on the sidewalk as he stared out through the glass. Then, in a quick swift movement, Felix grabbed his things and ran out the door to her.

"Wait!"
A soaking wet Ally turned around to see Felix staring into her eyes. They looked at each other and it was as if everything around them stopped, the cars buzzing past, the busy people walking around, the life around them had disappeared. It was just the two of them, like they had always wanted.

"I still love you, Ally Caulfield."

Ally didn't even have time to happily react or process what he had just said because he kissed her. He kissed her in a way she had never been kissed before, like it was the first time she felt so loved she could explode with warmth. And so, she kissed back.

When they pulled away, she pecked him on different areas of the face multiple times. Ally looked up to the sky and said, "Thank you!" She was truly grateful to god for bringing Felix back to her life. Ally was so happy she could cry tears of joy! He grabbed her hand and they walked back to the coffee shop, to make up for the lost time they had spent with each other.
