"So who won?" Bilbo asked after the rabbit stew was made and Silver was sitting with the princes laughing. The two hunters looked over and at the same time said"Me." Glaring heartily at each other they smirked." I probably should not have asked that." Bilbo muttered. Fili shook his head when bilbo flinched at a sound and Kili began to tease him when Thorin growled at him" You think that's funny do you? Joking of such things out there....you need to stop acting like such a child and grow up Kili." Kili frowned and muttered he was going on watch ,Fili followed after him.
Silver stood and approached Thorin with a raised brow "You are harsh Thorin, it was not any harm...you are on edge but do not take it out on your Nephew. "Grabbing her bow she left the fire ,claiming to go clear her head. Dwalin frowned slightly " Her bow is an Elvish bow....." He muttered to Thorin the others listening. " Rangers are known to associate with elves...it's no secret ." Thorin brushed him asside and sat down. Bilbo grabbed two bowls and went after fili and kili.
Finding the two standing he grinned slightly " Ah there you are... here ...what's wrong? " he said as he held the bowls out to them and they didn't grab them." Two ponies are missing. " Fili murmured softly. Kili narrowed his eyes and said softly " They can't have gotten far come on." Following after the dwarves, bowls still in hand the hobbit scurried after them. Finding the ponies easy, getting them ....was a whole other matter.
Trolls. Three big gigantic trolls. First was they sent bilbo,their burglar to get the ponies and he got caught next everyone came and they got caught. Now they were in sacks or on a spit being turned over a fire. Bilbo began stalling hoping and praying for Gandalf or Silver to appear. "Oh yeah they have worms nasty gross..." He trailed off when a cloaked figure stepped into the fire light a silver broad sword with a black and white hilt in hand."....Filthy creatures. " A females voice spat out coldly drawing the Trolls attention. They stared wide eyed at the blade then attest the figure".T-troll Hunter.....it's the silver one." They screeched hiding behind one another in fear. Silver took off her hood,her eyes flashing in anger as she raised her sword "You took my friends.....now what do you have to say for such a crime." She hissed, her eyes deadly in the light, causing shivers down the dwarves spines.
The Trolls blubbered for forgiveness and she smirked, her head tilted" Ah I know.......how about a little bit of sun for that pale flesh of yours. " Waving her hand slightly, they turned to see Gandalf ,whom brought his staff down the sunlight shining down on them. Shrieking they tried to run but their skin grew hard and they turned to stone. Silver smiled as she sheathed her broadsword and untied Kili helping him to his feet.
"Troll Hunter?"he asked breathlessly his lips curled slightly up at the corners. " Revenge driven...I had a friend ,he was an elder ranger he helped me a lot and Trolls killed him....I have anger issues." She murmured softly looking down from him.
Kili pat her arm gently, causing her to look up at him. He was smiling sadly in understanding and his eyes shone with an emotion she couldn't place." It seems our troll friends have a cave let's go see what treasures we can find. " Fili circled his arm around Kilis shoulders . Silver stood away as she looked away from the dwarves and whistled ,her stallion trotting from the trees. Patting it's mane gently she kissed it's mane gently.
Taking off its pack she tapped it gently and he went galloping off after she got her things off. " Why did you send him off?" Thorin asked gruffly. "Because you all now have to walk, and he's not a pack mule for you all to put your things on. And it wouldn't be fair." She smiled at him and followed after Gandalf with light steps. Kili looked after the woman his eyes wandered to her face as she smiled and spoke with Gandalf.
" She's quite a woman isn't she ."Fili folded his arms over his chest, his lips up in a knowing smirk. Kili glared at Fili and groaned " Not a word brother not a word. She's beautiful and funny......that's it." He walked and ter the company leaving Fili laughing.
After all Fili knew his brother best, and what looks he was giving their female companion he did not miss.
Fili chortled shaking his head and walked after his brother .
