Practice Match

The bell rung signaling it was time to leave school.
I start to pack my stuff and get out of my seat. When i walk to the door i see kuroko waiting for me.
"T-hanks for waiting" i thanked
He nods and we start to walk side by side to the gym kuroko matching my pace . i open the door and we both head inside toward the locker rooms. I always hated the locker room, getting dressed infront of a bunch of guys... I grab my gym clothes and jersey and head quickly straight to the bathroom to get changed. And since im in here might as well use it . i get out and wash my hands and put my clothes in the locker. Kuroko comes up to me already dressed and ready to go,
"Yuki-kun shouldn't change in the bathroom"  he told me
I sheepishly smile
"I had to use so i just thought to change in there too. To save time" i say half-lying. He stares at me for a moment and nods
We both head out to the court.

The coach speaks up

"Lets have a 5 vs 5 mini game! Freshman vs seniors!"

(Lets just say one of the freshmen couldn't make it(〜￣▽￣)〜)

"A match against the senpais that means...!"

"Do you remember what they told us when we joined the club?their result from last year.."

"Last year with only freshmen, they made it until the final league...!!"

Everyone gets surprised looks on their faces

"Seriously?!"

"Thats completely out of the ordinary..."

Riko has the whistle between her lips
Kagami comes up.
"Its not the time to be scared. Of course its better if the opponent is strong rather than weak right?!" ....he does have a point we line up to start and go into our positions .
"Lets go!!"
The ball goes in the air and Kagami and what i learned hyuuga-senpai jump to get it but kagami was faster,
",..wooh!!"
Then kagami go to the whoop and slams the ball in with monstrous strength
"Oooh!!?"
"WAAH What was that dunk!!"
"Awesome!"
I go up to kagami
"N-nice kagami-kun..!"
He turns to me and smirks
"Dont forget our rematch after this."
I just nod .
"Hey,thats insane" hyuuga says

"The freshmen are in the lead.?!"

"But well, kagami is the only one scoring!"

Kuroko got the ball but was immediately stolen
"The ball was stolen?! From this guy again!"
"Focus!"
Poor kuroko..he must have a hidden talent.. i go over to him
"Kuroko w-when are you going t-to show them your 'hidden talent'?"
I ask. He looks at me and was about to say something when Kagami start to pick a teammate by the collar .
Kuroko starts to walk behind Kagami.
"Enough already..?what the hell is with that?!"
Kuroko knees the back of kagami's causing him to drop the poor dude .
"Please calm down"
Everyone looks at him in surprise .

Kagami glares at him

"You bastard..."

Then kuroko spoke up.

"Excuse me.  Could you pass me the ball?"

"Ha..?"

" do your best! Still three minutes"

I see the dude pass the ball to kuroko and all of a sudden i have it . no time to act confused i use my lightning speed and shoot the ball into the net. It happen so fast that the team players are still processing what happened.
"We scored a point?! H-how?!"

"Eh..!?"

I smile at kuroko and see kuroko smile back, it was small but still a smile.
Our team kept scoring with kuroko's passes and my speed and jumps .
"How the hell do they do that?!"

"Before you even notice it, the pass goes through and they score..! And such speed..
Inhuman..!"

There was one point difference

And kuroko tried to through the ball into the net but it bounced of the rim .
"Thats why weak guys piss me off!"
Kagami takes the ball and dunks it into the net.
"Score properly you idiot!"

"WAAH the freshmen won!!!"

Since me and kuroko left before Kagami could have his rematch we decided to go to maji burger again.
As we ate we see kagami come in And orders.....50 burgers?!
Whoa..
He comes and sits at our table and unwraps a burger
"Uhhm..." i speak up
He chokes a little and looks at us .

"...why are you here again..."

"You are the one that came to sit at our table...and its because i like the vanilla shakes here"

Kuroko answers drinking his shake .
"Go sit somewhere else"

"Oh oka-"

"No."

"Dont go thinking we're friends now 💢"

"Like i said we were the first ones here"

"......"

Kagami glares but suddenly throws us both a burger.
I tilt my head in confusion.
"Here. But im not interested in weak guys. I'll acknowledge your one piece of that."
He says that kuroko
"Thank you" we both say
Then Kagami turns toward me
"Id give you another one but you ran out of our rematch!"
I laugh nervously
"Sorry.."
He huffs.

"How strong..are the 'generation of miracles'?"
He asks kuroko as we walk out
"?"
He continues
"Say if i go up against them now. What would happen?"

"You'd be instantly crushed." kuroko answers
"Ah.. K-kuroko.."
"Cant you say that in a different way?"

I stop walking and instantly kuroko stops too then kagami

"?"
"Haa?"

I smile "s-sorry but i have t-to go a different w-way see you later.."

"Bye yuki-kun"

"Dont forget our rematch..!"

I nod and head a different way and wave .

Time to embrace sleep.
