I sat in the ashes, crying as the black and white swalloed away all the colours. The once vibrant red flowers out in the meadow, were a ravishing black. Stunned for words, i cried out for them. For all that i had lost. For all that i could remember. Heavy breaths came from behind me, almost lifeless my mother stood in the ashes, panting.
"Ill...give you another." a grey light ensued her, as i couldnt tell if it would be any other, and i was gifted. For anything i wanted. One thing. But then...she fell lifeless.
"Mama-!! Papa-!! Alex!!! " i cried out in anguise as the roaring of the flames dashed out my cries. Water sprayed everywhere, and the fire no longer masked my cries as i stared at the burnt bodies of my beloved. They were gone. Hauled up, i was rushed out of the ashes to a safer enviorment. Burns ran down my legs from sitting in the hot ashes of his house, tears marking over them, a slight tingling feeling. I understood now. Those who loose their soulmates just as i did...seeing the world in black and white again is terrifying. And no one else knows how much this day hurt.
"Send her to the orphanage. Her wounds will heal, but definatly scar." a deadbeat voice sounded from the left, and a tear slud down. It was official. I was...alone.
