Prince Sidon x Reader

Sickly Treatings

                 
                       Sidon feels a little ill...

  You had gotten up from bed a while ago and had already eaten breakfast. But still no sign of Sidon. You looked around the stores and the inn. Still no Sidon. You walked up to the kings chambers and peeped your head in. Sidon wasn't there either. You decided to ask his father where he was. You entered the gaping chambers of his majesty the king. As you walked up to the enormous zora king, you bowed to show respect. "Y/N my child, rise. Is there something you needed?" You stood in King Dorephan's presence, glancing at the spot where Sidon usually stood.

  "Would you happen to know where Sidon is? I haven't seen him all day since I woke up this morning." The king put a hand on his chin and took on a thoughtful look. He hummed, "I'm not sure child, I was assured he was with you today. Have you checked his personal quarters dear?" As a matter of fact, you didn't think to check his room. Duh... "Ah.. He might be there," you said, chuckling in between words. "Thank you." You bowed to pay your respects and went off to check his room.

  You went up the stairs to the next level of the domain and walked towards the shiny blue door, decorated in jewels. You listened for movement, but what you heard was a small groan. Knocking on the door you called his name quietly, but loud enough so he could hear you. "Sidon?" No answer. "Fishy...?" You opened the door and found it unlocked. You looked at the medium sized room, there was a big bed and directly across from it led three small stairs, and at the top was a shining blue pool in the shape of a circle. On the edge of the pool, you saw Sidon, resting his chin on the edge of the pool and the rest of his body within the water. He looked so flushed.. yet so pale at the same time. You assumed he was asleep. You walked in and closed the door behind you, walking towards Sidon. You squatted down to meet his closed eyes and sick looking face.

  Your hand stroked the top of his head and over the fin. "Fish sticks?.. Hey. Wake up Sidon." You said in a quiet voice. His face scrunched up and he opened his eyes, looking up at you tiredly. He groaned once more. "..Hm?... Oh, Y/N. My dear angelfish." "Hi fishy," you said with a smile. "You don't look all to well. Are you okay?" You said with slight concern. He lifted himself up slightly and rubbed his eyes. "I'm not so sure.. I have a headache, and my stomach also aches." The back of your hand was brought to his head, then you out your palms on his cheeks. He leaned into your hands slightly, closing his eyes. "I think you might have a fever." You didn't like it when he was sick.

The zora race had stronger systems in their bodies than Hylians but they still had fevers and illnesses. You noticed that some of the ill will that Sidon had was worse than a normal illness for other zora. You went to kiss his forehead but Sidon pushed pack so that you couldn't reach him. "Sorry dear. But I wouldn't want you to be sick as well." You frowned. Sidon got out of the water and dried himself off with a nearby towel. He started towards his bed and you followed him. Once he laid down, you sat on the other side of him, cross legged and looking down at him.

He looked so miserable.. He groaned and lifted his hand to his head. He had mentioned before that his stomach hurt. Your hand reached out and started to rub the soft padded skin on his belly. He smiled a bit. "That feels nice Y/N.. mmn.." You were a tad bit happier that you were able to comfort him. But the relaxation didn't last...

"MY LIEGE!!" A guard was standing on the other side of the door. "The king wants to see you immediately!!" You heard the guard scramble back to where he came from. You looked back at Sidon. He had covered his face with his hands and sighed. He started to get up but you stopped him. "I'll go talk to the king for you Sidon. He might let you rest a bit more if he knew you didn't feel well." All the red zora did was nod, his face still covered with his hands. You threw a blanket over Sidon's big form and his hands fell and he smiled at you. "Thanks you Y/N... You're too precious.." His comment made you blush. "Anything for you fishy. " With that, you walked out of his room and shut the door quietly.

You walked down to the first level of the domain and walk up more stairs to the kings corridor. You bowed. "Your majesty.. Y-your son isn't feeling really well. He's come down to a fever and he needs a little rest. What was it you needed him for?" King Dorephan looked at you, showing no expression and he hummed. "A fever hmm?.. Well, he only needed to practice since the chief of the Gerudo was coming to express trade with our people in two weeks from now. But I'll put that off until he has time to heal from his illness. Thank you
Y/N. " That was easy.

Once you got back to Sidon's room you found him asleep, lightly snoring. You closed the door behind you and snuggled up beside him in the bed. You didn't care if you got his sickness, you just wanted to be with him.
