Chapter 8- Killer Comeback

Hunter's P.O.V.
I can't believe Cassy would ruin Bri's house. Now that I'm looking at Bri kneeling on the ground while breaking down, I feel really sad for Bri. I bet that house has a sentimental value and that bitch Cassy just ruined it. When Bri screamed out all her feelings, my heart sank when she said "FUCK MY LIFE!!!". I just can't imagine how precious that house was and now it's gone.

   "Hey, I think you should get some rest. You've handled a lot today." I said picking her up. She didn't say anything, she just got in the car.

   "It was my parents'." She said. What?

   "The house?" I asked.

   "Yup, that was where I grew up. That was my last memory of my parents." She said.

"Were they murdered in that house?" I asked and she nodded.

"Why were they murdered? Were there some robbers or something?" I asked and a tear fell on her cheek, I wiped it with my thumb.

"That's why it hurts, they were murdered because they were protecting me." She said

"But why?" I asked

"My dad used to lead a gang, the gang I'm leading right now. And my dad had a lot of debts to other gangs. My dad tried really hard to pay them, he'd work day and night to pay them. But the deadline for the payment came and my dad didn't get to pay. The gang leader threatened to kill me in front of them, then kill them afterwards. But my mom and dad refused to that, they offered their own lives to save and protect mine from the other gang. When my parents got shot, the police came. Unfortunately, the gang was fast. The police never caught them." She said then she cried.

We arrived at my house and she said she was hungry. So I offered to cook her food. She went to go have a shower and changed into my hoodie and sweatpants. I let her borrow some of my clothes for a while until she has her own clothes. We ate the steak that I cooked and she said she wanted to watch a movie. So we did, but we ended up falling asleep throughout the movie.

I woke up feeling comfy and warm. As I opened my eyes, Bri and I are cuddling. Damn, she looks cute when she's asleep and she's definitely a cuddler. As I pushed a hair out of her face she woke up. She smiled at me and I smiled back.

"So do you want some breakfast?"I asked and she nodded.

"Go get ready, I'll cook." I said

"Wow the bad boy cooks?!" She asked and I blush slightly.

"Well yeah..." I said and she chuckled.

"I'll go get ready now." She said

"Ok." I said as I walked out of the room. My phone buzzed, uhh it's a call from Justin. (H=Hunter and J=Justin)
H- What?
J- Hunter, the gang is going downhill fast!
H- What happened?!
J-A lot of us have been captured and killed. Our stockers are gone and it's all happening fast.
H- Shit
J- Hunt, you need to come back now. Please.
H- I'll think about it
J- Do it fast, bye.
Shit, this is going badly I need to come back. I'll talk to Bri about it. But what should I make for breakfast?
