the piano was a beautiful instrument to yoongi, him loving how the ivory keys created angelic music from the slightest of touches and how the notes carried softly throughout the halls. his mother on the hand? why, she thought of it as annoying and screamed at him whenever he set foot near the grand piano.

she hated it so much that she set fire to it.

"stop being an irritating brat and help me with the dinner party." she says, bursting into his dark bedroom. lucky for him, she left as quick as she came, her expensive perfume causing his nose to scrunch up in distaste.

he never really understood his mother; she was a snobby rich lady, yes, but she didn't have a reason to hate on her own child. his father hadn't really been around to hate nor like his son, and yoongi didn't really care either.

whilst he felt like he once needed his parents, they weren't that good at giving him reasons as to why he'd needed them.

yoongi got up from his desk, putting the music sheets away and slipping the white lighter into the pocket of his black skinny jeans, ripped just to annoy his mother more than he already did. no way was he going to stick around the mansion just to listen to old men as they gave him the eye or young girls flaunting whatever they had.

he was one hundred percent gay, he didn't need a girl to 'strengthen the family line'.

he just needed to play the piano, smoke cigarettes, and continue to be the sinner he loved to be.
