yoongi cracked his fingers, rolling his neck before pressing nimble fingers against the ivory keys. hands move swift and smooth to create the music's flow, loving how the piano allowed him to create the piece.
the heavenly music however, was not only heard from inside the shop, but out on the damp streets too. just as jimin trudged home he passed the music shop, stopping when he saw that even though the sign was flipped, the lights were still on. he pressed tentatively on the glass door, tiptoeing in to see where that angelic sound was coming from.
sure enough, yoongi sat there at a black wooden piano, the seat of the stool red velvet to match the red silk shirt adorning his chest. apart from that, he was all black against stark white flesh, gold earrings catching in the artificial lights that hung shade-less from the ceiling.
"i know you're there," the elder spoke without evening looking up from the keys, fingers not stopping their delicate movements. "so now's the time to explain why you're in my shop."
jimin gulped the ball of both frustration and adoration, trying not to freak out over how attraction this man truly was. he was a devil in wine red, dark manner smoking off him like the white sticks resting in their packet on top of the piano.
"i heard you...and i was just being nosy i guess." the dark-haired man nodded and slowly stopped, fingers belonging to his left hand lingering on the keys as they went limp.
"well, did it sound alright?"
alright? alright?
"sounded okay." another lie.
"oh? well in that case, how could i make it even better? do you even know piano?" yoongi looked at the light brunet as small hands fidgeted with the material of his striped-shirt.
"no, i don't. it was...it was actually very very very good." though he normally couldn't help but lie, lying to this man seemed almost dangerous.
