It was Jeremy's funeral.

His parents were a sobbing mess, his mother's makeup running everywhere and clinged onto Jeremy's father, shaking horribly. What was she supposed to do, pretend it didn't hurt? Her baby, her sweet sweet baby, was gone.

The pastor finished his little monologue, "If anyone would like to step forward and say something about Jeremy, now is the time." He spoke.

His parents came forward, his mother unable to deliver the speech through her sobs so his father did it instead. Several of his classmates spoke about him, some coming up and kneeling down to the casket for their final goodbyes.

Everyone that attended was sobbing, some throwing flowers on top of it as it lowered, someone throwing a whole bouquet of roses down. As the casket reached the bottom, they started to shovel the dirt in. Everyone took turns to throw a shovel full of dirt in.

Jeremy was buried right next to Michael, Michael having gotten a new headstone since it's destruction.

Michael's and Jeremy's headstones said the same thing under their dates, they read, "Together in heaven."

At least, that's what their parents hoped. They hoped they were up there together, laughing and having fun like they used to.
