It had been several months since Michael's death. Jeremy didn't go to school. He didn't talk to anyone. He barely even ate.
Things had been getting crazy in his mind. Sometimes, he swore he heard Michael's voice speaking to him and, if he was lucky, he could hold a short conversation in his head.
Today was the day that his parents were forcing him to go to therapy. Even though he swore he didn't need it, a small voice on the inside whispered that he did.
His dad dropped him off at the clinic, making sure he actually went inside before leaving. As Jeremy stepped inside, he scanned the small room with several people waiting to see the therapist.
He stepped up to the desk, telling the lady his name. She nodded and motioned for him to sit in one of the seats.
He turned around and sat down, glancing over to the person sitting next to him before staring at his lap. As he began to stare at his lap, his eyes widened as he looked to the person sitting next to him again.
There he was, absentmindedly scrolling through his phone. Jeremy thought for sure he was going insane as he stared at the boy.
He was there, in all his glory. Red sweater, glasses....the player two patch....
Michael looks to Jeremy and smiles, "Can I help you?"
Jeremy froze, staring into his eyes. This couldn't be happening. This was impossible. He just visited his grave this morning!
Michael raised an eyebrow, "What?" He chuckled, "Is there something on my face??"
"N-No..." He trails off, looking away. Someone in the waiting room gave Jeremy a weird look, whispering to someone next to them.
"M-Michael..?"
"How do you know my name?"
"I-I.....How....How is this-.....How is this possible..?? Michael?"
Michael went silent, getting up and leaving. Jeremy jumped up and ran after him, "Michael!" Just like that, he was gone again...
The people that were waiting looked around confusedly, murmuring to eachother about how crazy Jeremy was. After all, they just saw him chasing after no one.
