One night after Jessica Moore died

_

"Rise and shine, Sammy." Dean nudged his little brother in the passenger seat, causing the younger Winchester to jolt awake. "Welcome home."

Sam looked up to find the impala parked in Bobby Singer's driveway next to Bobby's old pick up truck. As fond as he was of the older man, he had to admit, Baby might have been an old car but she was brand spanking new compared to that truck. "Why are we at Bobby's?" he questioned, his brow furrowed in confusion.

"Well, I can't just go away for three days and not come see my little girl, Sammy."

The younger Winchester's eyes seemed to light up at this. "Natalie is here?"

"Of course she is! Where else would she be?" Dean shrugged as he got out the car.

Sam smiled. He hadn't seen his niece since he left for Stanford. And after everything that had happened, he could use a little light in his life.

"You mind grabbing the bags?" Dean asked, eager to get inside to his daughter.

"Yeah, sure." Sam said, and Dean nodded before walking through the front door.

"Got any three's?" Natalie's little voice rang through the small house as Dean made his way into the kitchen. The little girl was sitting at the table across from Bobby, swinging her legs back and forth as she held her cards tightly in her hands. Her blonde locks were messy around her shoulders and she was still in pajamas, though that didn't surprise him, considering it wasn't even 9:30 yet. She had always been an early bird.

"Go fish." Bobby responded, neither of them taking notice of the man standing in the doorway.

"Ask him for his kings." Dean said with a grin, and Natalie's face lit up.

"Daddy!" she squealed, jumping out of her chair and racing over to her father.

"There's my girl!" Dean beamed, lifting his daughter off the floor and into his arms, blowing a raspberry on her cheek.

Natalie squealed with laughter, draping her arms around her father's neck. "Daaaad!" she giggled, gripping onto his shirt with her little fists.

Dean grinned, cradling the six year old in his arms as if she were still a baby. Which to him, she pretty much was. "How are you, bug?"

"I'm good! Missed you," The little girl said, reaching up to pat her father's cheeks.

The older man laughed. "I missed you too. Hey, I brought you something."

Natalie gasped, wiggling so her father was holding her on his hip. "A present?!"

"Oh yeah. I think you're gonna like it. It's back at the car."
