School is hell.

Well, I'll be damned. I have to start high school for the, what is it, one thousandth time. If there is one thing that I think is hell on earth it is high school. I will say though this high school has changed the last time I saw it. Frenship got big since I went here. Let's see I was here in 1945. Wow it went from a tiny school to this. I look around to see if I could find any of my friends from the different ages. "Aaaghh!" I say out loud as something hit's me from behind. I look and there I see a short girl about 5'3" smiling at me. "Come on Meredith really?", I say while rolling my eyes. she punches my stomach and I kind of get knocked back a couple of feet as she says, "Come on Dra- I mean Zach. I have to pick on you sometimes to show you who's boss." She looks at me smirking and I sit down from the wind being knocked out of me. "So how was your summer so far excluding all of the raiding you did?", I say this while drinking a monster. "It was extremely boring", she says as she eats her breakfast. "Really? I thought being a Dragon would be exciting or something.", I say while I chuckle. She punches my arm. "Ow! What was that for?", I say as I rub my arm. "You have a fucking mouth is what that means.", she says as she continues eating breakfast. I could tell she is frustrated because her face is red. "It was just a joke. Geez.", I say as I continue drinking. She looks at me with a rage. I put my hands up in defense. "I'm sorry.", I say with wide eyes. She nods and says, "Thank you. So why don't you eat?" She says while eating. "You should know my diet by now. Bad people aren't meant to be here.", I say as I drink the last of my monster and throw the can in the trash. "So I was thinking of going on a hunt tonight. Want to tag along?", I say with my shoulders shrugged up. "I'll think about it. You should know that I still have a family.", She says this finishing the last of her breakfast. "Well we better get to class if we want to march.", I say with a serious look. "Alright well let's get going.", she throws her tray away. "ok.", I say this getting up, "See you during band." I run to my class.

~~~~~*8 hours later*~~~
"Alright tonight is game night let's get going people!", Mr. Carter yells as we start to march to the field. Man I do love marching band though.
~~~couple hours later~~~
I miss game days. As we are marching back I hear something behind us. I look and I see a demon in a trench coat and glowing red eyes. "Shit", I say this and Meredith hears me and she looks behind. "What is it?", she says with a concerned look. I make a movement to look further behind me. She see's the demon and nods her head. I smile. I haven't had a fight in a long time so this should be interesting. As we make our way to the docking area Meredith and I break away from the band and quickly make our way inside without being seen. We change out of our uniforms carefully making sure we don't rip them. I get out of the guys changing area quickly. "Where is she?", I say quietly. Then I feel a tap on my shoulder and I quickly make a fighting stance only to see her standing in front of me. "Come on not funny", I say rolling my eyes. She laughs and says "Yea it is. You should have seen your face." I shake my head. "Ok. Let's go. We have to protect them from this demon", I say while changing into a rather large werewolf. Over the years I've learned how to mix certain species to make half breeds and then I keep that DNA inside me due to it being only made by me. Meredith turns into a dragonoid of a sort. We run outside and see everyone is gone. "Weird we didn't take that long did we?", Meredith says. "No. I know what he did. He created a barrier that renders everything invisible outside and in. Nothing in hear harms anyone outside. At least he has manners or he plans to leave us in here to die.", I say with a chuckle, "Either way at least the humans are protected." She nods in agreement. "Alright lets get going and try to find him." as I say this I turn and see the school on fire. I almost get worried but then remember no one is inside and that it is just apart of the barrier. "Well this brings a whole new meaning to school is hell", Meredith says laughing. I shake my head chuckling. "Let's see if he is inside, shall we?", I say running in.
