Monokuma laughed darkly, "Phuhuhuhuhuhuhu! This is so Ęxçītìñg! I simply cannot hold this off any longer. Let me explain the first motive~" The bear declared, seeming as if he was unable to contain his...Ęxçītmëñt much longer.

Yet one brave student dared to speak over the bear. His name was Cody, the Ultimate Counselor. "Mr. Monokuma sir? I thought you said that you were going to let us explore before you gave us a....Motive." He asked, easily managing to keep his voice calm and collected.

"Mr. Monokuma sir? My you have manners! Well since you asked so politely, and since I'm a nice headmaster I'll answer. I've changed my mind. It's as simple as that. I just can't wait to see who breaks first! Now to reveal the motive. If a murder doesn't happen in the next say, 29 hours, (Which is the rest of today, through the night and some of tomorrow) then you won't be able to escape this place and save your families. And the thing is only one of your are going to be able to! But you have to manage to go undetected, and not get caught by your fellow Peers! Oh and if you don't have those well don't fret! I've put your closest friends to replace them! Don't have any friends well then.....You'll die instead! Yippe!" The bear explained, his wicked smile growing even larger. "I wonder who will snap first? After all, it's your family, or your closest friends, or even your own life at steak! Anyhow your all free to go now. Explore to your hearts content, but I would take a look at that handy E-Handbook of yours. It has all of the rules and some information that I've once again so kindly given you in it. Plus you need it to access your rooms. Oh and if you don't believe me then...Just watch the video on you E-Handbook! Phuhuhuhuhu!" And with one last evil laugh the bear seemingly disappeared.

First Floor Locations:

Your Rooms: Each of you have a room that can only be opened by your E-Handbook. They have nothing extra from your lives in them, only a few books, about how to murder someone and some other things related to that topic, a desk with some paper, a pen, and a pencil, and finally a bed. There are some shelves for some items and a charger for your E-Handbook. The charger works for only the handbook, and no other electronic device. There also have a small closet, and inside are many pairs of your current clothes, and the same thing with pajamas. There are also about three pairs of swimsuits/trunks. For the girls how revealing they are depends on their personality and same for color and design, as for the guys there all their favorite color and whatnot. There are bathrooms in every room. The showers on the girls have locks, while the boys don't.

The Cafeteria: There is plenty of food stored in here, behind the lunch line, and knives to! Although there is an unremovable sensor hidden deep within each knife, so if you walk out of the door with one on your person...Well the Monokuma units will know, and only them. It's not like their going to stop you though. Although there are plenty of other ways to kill someone in the kitchen! Say cooking them alive, or pressing their face into a deep fryer or onto the stove. Phuhuhuhu.

The Counselor's Office: By the door is a clipboard where you can sign up for a meeting with Cody, the ultimate counselor. Inside there is a desk with a computer, although it was specialty made to only be able to type. There is no other features. There is also a printer, to allow him to print reports of his visitors mental health. All of which was so kindly provided by your one and only Headmaster!

The Gym: You can play many games here, and there's even a ball closet. Filled with weights, hockey sticks, baseball bats, kickballs, dodgeballs, baseballs, basketballs and much more. There are also treadmills and other exercise equipment in a side room.

The Band Room: Here there is a lot of instruments that would be in a band. There are also practice rooms with śøüñdprøōf walls, for practicing your instrument privately and not be annoying to other students. Although there are other things that the room CAN be used for, even if it isn't meant for it. There is enough room for a dancer to be able to practice and any other instrument players could practice here if they wished.
