I smiled before texting back and then turning off my phone and turned towards August.He was already looking at me but he didn't look happy.
"Who's Jay?" He asked looking mad as hell. I know this man not Jealous.
"Babe that was just a friend." I said to him before leaning in for a kiss. Instead he pushed me back.
"It's a girl August." I told him making him roll his eyes.
"She a lesbian??" He asked making me laugh, but he was serious.
"No August" I said to him.
"I don't want you texting her no more." He said to me before turning the other way.
"What! Really August?" I asked him.
"I'm serious Y/N." He said before turning off the lamp next to his bed. A sigh came from my lips as I turned off my lamp and turned the other way too.
This is nothing new. I haven't been able to contact my brothers,some childhood friends, even my boy bestfriend because of August. He thought I cut them all off but I was low key still texting them. He was the only man I ever been with that I had to go through this with.
