August and I have been Bestfriends for years. We were always together no matter what. That was until he found himself a girlfriend. I ain't gonna lie I'm jealous. It used to be all about me now it's 'I have to see what Sharon says'  Sharon this and Sharon that. In fact she shows that she's jealous more than I show that I'm jealous.

August is over at my house for movie night and he has been on his phone nonstop. He not not even paying attention to what's going on in the movie. While sighing I turned off the T.V and got up.

"Where ya goin'?" He asked me. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Nigga you've been on your phone the whole damn movie." I said to him.

"Y/N I'm sorry Sharon-" he started before I cut him off.

"Yeah,yeah,yeah Sharon this and Sharon that. Maybe you should go to her place for movie night." I said to him. August stood stood up and walked to me.

"Come on guh. I said I'm sorry what else I'm suppose ta' do?" He asked.

I crossed my arms across my chest. "Goodnight August." I said to him. He sighed before leaving.

She always is the reason why we argue or get upset with each other. I can't deal with the fact that every time we hang up she somehow interrupts it. After I heard the door close I walked to the door and locked. Then I headed upstairs for some goodnight sleep.

I woke up glad that today's my off day. After getting in the shower and brushing my teeth I headed downstairs. Then there was a knock at the door. August was standing there with a smile on his face.

"Can I come in?" He asked me. I sighed before letting him in and following him into the living room.

"I came ta' say dat' I'm sorry for yesterday." He said.

"Okay August." I said while crossing my arms.

"That's not all. I realized that we are arguing a lot more lately and they always seem to be about Sharon." He said to me.

"Listen Au-"

"I also wanted to say I broke up with her." He said making me forget what I was about to say.

"Say what now?" I said.

He took a deep breath before speaking again. "I'm in love with you Y/N." He said to me before walking up to me and he grabbed my hands.

"I need ta' know do you feel the same." He told me. I was in complete shock. I never once thought that August would ever tell me that I'm his or my life.

"Of course I do."
