"Losing someone that is most important to you is like losing your since of stability; your peace of mind."
-Author (Me)Chapter 4
or most of the night, I spent it with Adrienne and Ash's friends in the basement, listening to their stories and fond memories. I smiled at close they were to one another, and how strong they're bond was. It made me happy.
After realizing how late it was, I turned to Adrienne. She had a goofy smile placed upon her lips as she watched Ash talk to her buddies. It was cute seeing the way her eyes fluttered dreamily at Ash. I assumed she hadn't had any thought of leaving anytime soon, considering she was on her second bottle of beer."Adrie, is it okay if I spend the night here? It's late, and I'm assuming your close to becoming overly intoxicated." I said, letting out a small laugh at her dazed smile. Her eyes landed on me. "Yeah, of course. My room is upstairs, 3rd room on the right." She said, and then her attention was turned back to her friends. I stood to leave, but felt a large hand grip my wrist. "Leaving so soon, dollface?" Dakota smirked, his dark eyes glistening. I nodded slowly. "Mhm, I'm not use to staying up so late." I spoke.
With that, he let go of my wrist and gave me a short nod. "I see, get some rest then."I made my way up the basement stairs, getting a few glances from people who were still at the 'party'. I walked out from the kitchen and toward the large set of stairs.
I reached Adrienne's door, and opened it wide as I stepped inside.
I froze, staring at the tanned girl on top of the, completely naked. My heart seemingly stopped instantly, and air was caught in my throat. The two instantly jumped off one another, staring at me wide-eyed.
"Reine, it's not what it lookd like.." Damon spoke, as he pulled the blanket closer, hiding his nude body. The girl next to him didn't seem to care, her breast sat perky against her chest. I continued to stare at the sence, bile rising to my throat. I turned on my heels, rushing out the room.
I felt so many emotions at once, it was hard to express them all at once. My world had seemed to slow down, although I had been walking at a quick pace. The sound of my name being called from behind me was distant.I tripped and stumbled around the house, my eyes burned with hot angry tears. I looked quickly for the quickest escape route, seeing it being the back door. I rushed towards it, only to bump into something firm. My senses were so fucked up, it took me a moment to realize I had actually bumped into somone. I looked up anf tried to apologize, but my eyes were blurred from tears and my mouth felt dry.
"Hey, are you okay?"
I heard the man speak in front of me. He had a deep husky voice that sent shivers up my spine. I felt a large hand swipe at my cheek. "You're crying.." he said, his voice trailing off.
I opened my mouth to answer, but I felt a sudden dizziness hit me, and I felt myself slipping out of comciouness.
**honestly, I felt that this chapter was a little crappy. I tried to come up with something good, but I didn't have many ideas. Regardless I hope you enjoyed this.
