This story is told in Silena's POV
-----

I looked outside the cabin windows as I sat on my bed awaiting Charlie's return. He and Percy were supposed to be on this secret mission to give camp an advantage. I loved him so much. I was alone in the cabin as my sisters and brothers were off doing classes and other activities.

I was so stressed and worried about Charlie that I didn't bother brushing my hair or putting make up on. I needed to know that Charlie would return. I needed his arms around my waist and him to tell me that everything was going to be alright.

I thought about what Luke had said to me before he left camp:

"Silena, please you have to help us," Luke had said. "Your actions will help everyone. You will save lives like mine and Ethan's. All of those unclaimed campers, so many kids abandoned. I want to save these people, and you're the only one I can trust to help me."

He wrapped his arms around my waist making me blush. His face was very close to my own as he continued to flirt with me. I couldn't help but fall for his charm. "I would help people?" I asked, "Save people?"

"Yes, Silena. With your help and everyone else. We could change the world. All you have to do is keep me informed about camp's status, and we can save all of these innocent lives," he said with a smile.

I probably shouldn't have, but I couldn't help but believe him. I would save lives. I would change the world. It's what I've always wanted to do. I wanted to be more than just a daughter of Aphrodite. I could save these demigods, and then I could have it all

"I promise you, Silena," Luke continued. "You'll be saving millions."

His lips almost touched mine as he breathed. I couldn't help but smile as he held me close. I liked him. I crushed on him. I nodded. "I shall help you. I promise, but no one must know."

He smiled and gave me a peck. "You're making the right call," He said. "Now take this. Use it to communicate with us. All you need to do is wear it on your necklace or around wrist on a bracelet or keep it hidden and from time to time we will keep in contact," Luke said handing me a small silver charm shaped like a scythe.

I attached the charm to my bracelet that I was wearing as it had a collection of charms on it. I put the scythe directly under my palm so it could easily blend in and be hidden. Then I turned to walk away.

------

My eyes filled with tears as I remembered Luke's words. He said I was helping everyone, but now I didn't like him. I wanted to quit. I wanted to stop. I loved Charlie, not him. I tried to quit.

------

"I want out," I said as I sat at the beach away from everyone.

I was wearing the bracelet, and Luke was communicating through it. He sighed. "Silena, it's too late. You have to help now."

"No, Luke. You may have seduced me before, but I'm over you and I want out," I hissed. "I don't want to do this anymore."

"Silena, if you stop now, I will tell everyone at camp everything that you have done. The poison. The information you've given us. Everything. If you stop, everyone will know. You'll be shunned. You'll be a disgrace. The Olympians will punish you dearly. And Charles," he chuckled. "Charles will be the first to know. He'll be so hurt when he finds out the truth about you. The kiss we shared with eachother. And I'll send monsters after him. He'll suffer a fate far worse than death."

I gasped at Luke's words. "No you can't hurt Charlie. Please not Charlie," I cried. "There has to be another way. Please."

"You help me. You continue giving us information or precious Charlie will suffer a world of hurt," Luke said.
