You dried up your face with a nearby towel and place it back where it belonged. You take a huge breath in, exhaled, then walked out the bathroom.

You head straight to your room and quickly close the door. You lie down on your bed and wrap your arms around your face.

What just happened?!

Rethinking the scenario makes you feel hungry. You get back up and walk downstairs. You check cabinets after cabinets and there's nothing for you to enjoy.

You found your favorite snack in one of the cupboards. Before you could open and prepare it, soft hands covered your eyes.

"Guess who?" A  very familiar voice said. You knew exactly who it was.

"Jack, could you please remove your hands from my face, I'm starving and I want a snack." You said.

"I have a better idea." He removes his hands from your face and picks you up, bridal style.

"Jack!" Put me down!" Your face turns red again as you struggled to get away from his grip. He carries you to the living room and sets you gently on the couch. He wraps a blanket over your legs and places a pillow behind your head.

"Rest up, I'll prepare you Something Different." He said as he winks. You chuckle as Jack leaves the living room, heading into the kitchen.

You glance around the room. The guys aren't around as far as you could see. You loved it here more than your old apartment.

Much more.

You can smell whatever Jack's cooking from where you are. Your stomach rumbles and begs for food. You get up from the comfortable position Jack placed you in and made your way into the kitchen.

A plate with way too fancy food for you was placed perfectly on a silver platter and neatly placed near you. A glass of cold water sat beside it.

"Wow, Jack. Thank you so much." You said, impressed.

He just winks at you.

You were about to get up and grab a spoon but Jack walks over to you and hands you a fancy spoon. You sit down and thanked him again.

He leaves the kitchen and heads to the living room.

You pulled out your phone and took a picture of the dinner Jack served you. A small portion of steak was cooked well done and had some sided vegetables. You took a bite out of the dinner and was immediately hooked. You nibbled it down till no crumbs were visible. You took the plate and placed it in the sink, not wanting to wash the plate.

You hop onto the couch and sit next to Jack, who was watching something that was seemingly scary.

"Thanks for the 'snack', Jack. I really loved it." You said for the last time.

"You're welcome, my mom taught me the recipe."

Being the person you are, you got scared on some moments and turned red. Jack keeps staring and smiling at you. Sometimes he'd chuckle.

At one point, you got super scared and jumped onto Jack's lap. Without realizing, you were holding onto Jack with dear life like you were about to die.

"It's okay, it's only a movie. I'll be here for you."

Hearing those comforting words made you feel so much better.

It feels like you wanted to cry, but you didn't.

Because you were safe in Jack's arms.

Fast.

Asleep.
