13 (Jack Avery)

Choosing.

Your choices were hard, but you knew who you wanted to be with.

You made eye contact with Jack.

With confidence, you chose.

"Jack."

Jack smiles as applause fills the silence. He walks over to you.

He picks you up and hugs you, lifting your legs back.

"Let's go to the park, love." He said, booping your nose. You giggled as you went to change.

You walk out the door with Jack, holding hands.

As you arrive at the entrance, you felt a drop of water hitting your head.

"It feels like it's going to rain." You said.

Jack also notices, "Yeah, I felt a drop hit my arm."

You notice a bench in the distance.

"Race you to that bench!" You said, pointing at the bench.

Jack nodded and both of you bolted to the bench.

Although your knees had bandages on them, you were in the lead.

You make it to the bench before Jack.

He makes it to the bench and lifts you up high again. You laugh as you start to feel a drizzle.

"How are you so fast?" He said, putting you down on your feet.

You shrugged.

As you and Jack walked along the path, it started to rain. Not heavy, but not light.

"I guess we should go home now." You said, looking down.

Jack stops and grabs your hand. He pulls you closer to him.

"Not until I do this."

He pulls your chin up and leans in.

You felt the soft lips against yours. You put your hands around his neck and kissed back.

Passionate.

You and Jack pull apart and caught your breath.

He lifts you up bridal style and carries you back home.

"I love you, (Y/N)." Jack said.

You looked into his eyes, "I love you more"

"Impossible," Jack said, "I love you more."

He sets you down near the mailbox, but you don't let go of his neck.

Instead, you pulled him closer to you and kissed him, as the rain continued.

"Did I prove you wrong?" You said, pulling away.

Jack waved his head, "Yeah, kinda."

You laughed.

Jack leaned in again and kissed you one last time before entering the house.
