'I could definitely do this for the rest of my life.'

That was the thought running through my brain as I woke up, as usual, blissfully ensnared in the arms of the man who I couldn't help but fall for. In the short time he excercised the hospitality to take me in, he got me to let go and finally, I was beginning to move on. I would miss Ryan and Aisling, I would miss Melissa, I could never stop missing them. Only now, I can be happy about the memories we shared and hope that if there is a place after death, that that was where we would meet again.

"No.Stay." Nik whined, pulling me closer to him as I tried to remove his arms and get up. Admittedly, I did lean back into him, but knowing that there was a bright new day ahead of me, I had to wrestle him to get up. When he didn't budge, I licked his hands and he laughed, leaning in closer to me, kissing up and down the sensitive parts of my neck before whispering.

"Keep doing that and you'll never leave this bed." I blushed at the remark and pouted.

' Stupid horny mess.' I thought. Wait, that's it. Nevermind that I knew I'd pay for what I was about to do

I turned and wrapped my arms around him, letting one of his legs slip between mine as he turned over to let me straddle him. I raked my hands up and down his torso as he held my waist and ground into me. Pinning his arms above him, knowing he was letting me take control, I pressed his lips to mine, pulling away and laughing lightly as he moved his head up to resume.

"Good morning." was the last thing I said before kissing him one last time and belting out the door. I had just realized I started a game of cat and mouse that would most likely end with me regretting something. I heard the playfully challenging growl he let out, giving me enough time to decide on my hiding spot.

I heard the door open and close as he left the bedroom. Peeping from my place in the space under the kitchen sink I saw him searching round the dining table. Grunting in frustration when he didn't find me.

Moe serdste lubyov, come to me, I long for you." He pleaded in the most sensual way, making me almost think twice when he used his Russian endearment for me. I did feel giddy when I researched it and found it meant, 'my heart's love," but I couldn't let him win. I ducked back in when he passed by the cupboard door and sighed with relief when he went back the other way. I heard the bedroom door open and close again and I declared victory.

I treaded lightly and timidly out of the space, not even making noise by closing the door. When I got no response, I fist-pumped the air. As I did that, I felt arms on me. Crap.

"Ooh," Nikolai whispered deeply and hotly into my ear, pressing me to him, making me shudder," is a little mouse lost?" He didn't let me speak as he passed his beautifully rough fingers under my shirt, caressing everywhere in the closest proximity to my sensitive spots, never making real contact. He was torturing me with pleasure, making me yearn for it, and damn it all I was giving in.

He hoisted me up onto the kitchen counter, his hands still on my waist, as he brought his lips down onto mine. All too willingly I gave his tongue entrance and heat coursed through me like a berserk train.

"Oh God! People eat there you know." Ella yelled in mock disgust. Without tearing myself away from Nik, I just waved her off before he pulled away, causing me to whine slightly.

"'Kay then," I began, fishing around for the frozen pizzas and putting a slice in the microwave,"so, what can we do today? I'm bored and I don't wanna stay in the house."

"Well," Ella replied," I don't know about you two love birds, but I have some business to tend to with the others. They think they have a lead on the attacker and it's very likely that whoever it is, is targeting Chance now." The words barely left Ella's mouth before Nik pulled me into his embrace, letting out a protective growl as if whoever it was was creeping on us from a window.
