"Olive!"
Not again...
The annoyed girl rolled her eyes as she angrily made her way to class. She'd finally come to terms with her feelings and it didn't help that ignoring Valerie was hard enough; Valerie being so stubborn as to call after her created but another difficulty. Luckily, an ear bleeding bell saved her once again. She'd never think to be so excited for something as boring as History. An ambitious yet dim-witted teacher taught and didn't pay the slightest bit attention to the sleeping students. Olive sat in eery silence, receiving a few glares from students near the middle seats, clearly she was disturbing their gossip by starring out a window aimlessly.
Since her newest kill, Olives been having her urges more often; they were sudden bursts of energy at some points or perhaps a pounding headache accompanied by sweaty palms. Her attack didn't seem to fully fufill her hole as she had wished, instead it deepened it and made her want more. These outbursts also weren't spontanious, they were triggered, anger played a key part. David still wouldn't give up on feeding his daughter meds and because of this she cooporated for a while. This was short lived though, they only made her emotionless and groggy, it wasn't a feeling Olive wished to live with for weeks at a time. It simply wasn't how she wanted to live.
Lunch rolled around and Olive was overly excited to tear away from the other students. She hoped Valierie wouldn't spot her near the vending machine; she quickly rushed and grabbed herself a fizzy drink before taking a dash for outside. The outdoors were peaceful, and were a safe place if she were to catch an urge for blood. Although she thought she was finally in her safe haven, it wasn't so. A pair of hazel eyes dug themseleves into Olive's soul. "Get away..." A light mumble made its way out, just loud enough for Valerie to hear. She parted her lips but Olive was already packing herself up to go. "Olive..." Unfortunatly, the girl was already off on her way away from Valerie. She began to doubt her chances of ever repairing anything, but she had one more chance to catch Olive before the day is done.
"OLIVE!" Her voice wasn't a timid tone anymore, she spoke with clear booming words. Olive turned on her heels, clearly frustrated, "What the hell do you want?!" She stepped closer to Olive, Valerie was determined to make her choke up an explanation. Valerie had left class earlier than the other srudents, avoiding shoving and any other unessecary obsticles. She traveled along the route Olive took home, hoping to catch her once school let out. "Jeuss christ Olive! Talk to me!" It happened, Olive's hands became clammy, her head had gradually accumulated pain.
Fuck
No
"No! Leave me alone Valerie!" she screamed whilst clenched her fists together turning her knuckles white.
In and out
In and out
In and out
"You've been ignoring me all fucking day and for weeks now!! What the hell is your problem!!"
Stop screaming
Olive needed to remove herself from this, and fast. Her urge began to shake her hands and tingle her nerves, sending her body into a fit of chills.
"Don't you know how hard it is to be ignored and not know why!! I just want to talk!! I just wanted to talk Olive!!! Don't you understand that!!"
"Shut up..."
"Shut up? No! I won't shut up! I won't just let you leave! You won't fucking leave!"
"Shut up."
"No Olive! No!"
"Shut up-!"
It only took a second and Valerie was on the floor, she held the right side of her face as salty tears began to swell up and spill over her cheeks. Olive was heaving, her hands shook as she looked down at the helpless Valerie that lay there. She lifted her foot into the air, making the girl wince, ready for the next blow. Instead, she set her foot back down with a stiffened leg, she was amazed she hadn't beaten this girl to death yet. "Oli-..." Words were no use in this situation, all she could do is cry, cry loud and ugly sobs until she began drenching the collar of her shirt; crying ugly sobs as she listened to Olive whisper those heartwrenching, disgusting words.
I would've killed you
All Valerie could do was sob in pain, repeating those words over and over in her head, letting them slosh around without any chance to seep in. She held her eyes shut as she listened to the heavy footsteps of Olive sprint away.
