Rapunzel

I leaned forwards and looked down.It had to be about ten feet from the ground to up here.Where the hell am I?? Oh nothing unusual of course just standing out on the windowsill on my toes.The wind slightly swayed me making me hold the wall tightly.

"You can just use the front door you know...It would be much less risky and time saving."

Oh yeah..I wasn't alone.

"Will you shut up I'm trying to concentrate over here." *sigh*

"I'm just saying...I just want to help."

"Look here Mister,I don't want your help.I'm totally fine on my own.And I don't need a bodyguard."

The wind blew again and I swayed again.I admit this wasn't easy.But I couldn't use the front door when my parents had completely prohibited me from going outside.So the only way was to climb down the window.

I slowly took off my shoes and threw them to the ground.They landed with a thud.I pulled the rope again to see if it was safe and I slowly put my leg on the wall.I felt like the prince from Rapunzel except I wasn't holding hair and when I looked up my Rapunzel was a man.The original Rapunzel needed some change anyways and this way was more adventurous.

I continued my way down taking each step slow and steady.

Landed. Applause applause.

I put my shoes back on my feet and Cinderella was ready to go.

"So where are you planning to go?"

"Rapunz- I mean..how did you get down here?"

"Well..unlike you I can still walk through the door.I have to ask you have you ever tried that? Walking out the door? It's very easy you know..you should try it sometimes."

"Ha ha very funny.But I have no time for your sarcasm.I have much important things to do."

I walked past him.He followed.

"Will you stop following me? I am on my way for some important work."

"Important work for you is important work for me.My job is to be by your side and guard you."

"You don't have to do that.I am perfectly fine on my own.And you'll probably get bored by staying with me all day.",I said hoping he would leave.

"I wouldn't mind. I can bare with it.But I will not leave your side Miss."

"Even when I go to powder my nose?"I asked innocently.

"Even when you powde-..umm..okay maybe not then."

Aww...that look was priceless. He actually looked good when he went pink.

Ah...I have the perfect escape plan.

I turned towards the house and went back inside. This time through the door. And he followed.

"You know you should stop following me.I'm going to powder my nose."

"Oh sure Miss..I umm I'll wait for you here downstairs."

I nodded and made my way upstairs leaving him waiting near the stairway.

Ten minutes later.

I was walking down the road past the old library with no one to follow me. But by now he must have either figured out that I fooled him or he must think that I surely have a very large bladder.
