With a calm voice
She hummed
a mournful tune,
only Her weary
waiting soul
can hear;With subtle steps
She walked away
from things
and people
she held dear,For in the silence
of her heart,
She knew,
none was made
for her,In the pain
that she has felt,
her loving soul
stood long yet still;
in resounding tune
and unending faith
Her heart
gave
what
it gave.
