I know a soul
who loves
to smile
and brings light
in everyone's eyes;
He's radiant,
a blow of bliss
a reason
for me to pry;
Yet he knows none
that his smile
and those eyes
kept me awake
all night;
His gentle words
as it unfurls
scarred me-
for life.
